I'll never call them for anything. Put hardwood floors down had them replace an old ice maker water line and valve. Floor went down and a few days later buckled from leaky valve. Had the nerve to accuse me and my contractor of causing it to leak. Like we really wanted to rip up over a hundred square feet of floor we just laid and spend another 500 bucks replacing the ruined floor. Very unprofessional and over priced.

Fabulous! I had a Popejoy employee come to my house for a plumbing issue (thank you, by the way, for fixing the mystery leak!) and during conversation I mentioned that we had no AC in our 100 year old house. The plumber referred me to Popejoy's HVAC department and I scheduled a visit for a free estimate. I was thrilled that the estimate was free and NO pressure, first of all, but secondly, the gentleman who came over and did the measurements to determine what size system I would need noticed that my chimney was blocked with crumbled brick/mortar which meant that my 1961 furnace was exhausting carbon monoxide directly into my home. YIKES!!! So I asked for a quote on a new furnace as well to replace the old one while we were at it. We ended up with an AC, furnace and an electronic air cleaner. Two guys came over, wore shoe covers, and did the work in one day. They were kind and respectful of my home. They left everything clean and then a few days later, another gentleman came over to go over the system and the new thermostat with me. The price was fair, the work was thorough, and the service was top notch. I called back when it was time to remodel my bathroom and had them do all of the work for that because I was so impressed. This is a company that will go above and beyond to take care of you for the long haul!

I highly recommend Pope joy's for anything they do. So far, they have done plumbing and electric work on our house. They were professional, polite, and highly responsive. Very reasonable schedule and pricing. Great company.

I have used Pope Joy several times in hopes that I may have better service each time. The first time was to have a new water heater installed. It worked fine for a couple weeks, then it started leaking. I called Pope Joy and a different tech came out and they said it was sealed wrong by the first guy. He fixed it but then I was billed for their mistake.

I then had problems with my furnace and called Pope Joy to come take a look. Again they replaced something on it and then came back a week later and said they made a mistake and had to put the original part back on... um really?

And most recently, in a completely different house, I called them because my kitchen sink won't drain. Not only was I told that no one would be out today or tomorrow, They wouldn't even consider scheduling someone for next week to take a look at it. And yes I've tried all the home products to see if it would drain.

I will never in my life call this company again!

Popejoy remodeled our entire bathroom ! They did all the work not just the plumbing. They worked fast and were acurate. Their price was very reasonable for the work they did. Very impressed with the professionalism. They did everything they promised. I would definatley call them again for my next remodel.
