I had to review again because we just had Pope Plumbing out for another job and again they didn't disappoint. We had a leak out at the meter box - which of course the city said wasn't on their side - so we called Pope out for the repair. They came right out to check it out and quote the job - and they turned off the sprinklers to minimize the leak until they could come out for the repair. 3-days and a reasonable repair quote later they were here to do the job. Luckily the pipe wasn't as bad as they originally thought so the job was much less invasive, and oh yeah, much less expensive - wooo hooo!!!! You don't hear that very often with plumbing.
You may see some not so good reviews below - and I'm sorry those folks had questionable experiences with this company - but seriously as far as plumbing companies go - Pope Plumbing has been wonderful for us. Give them a try - I hope you'll be as pleased as we are with their service, people and work.

Pope Plumbing was recommended to my Mom by a contractor working on her house. My mom had a commode that was leaking. The guy showed up and was at my Mom's house less than 15 minutes. He told my mom the cost to replace it would be $216. My mom was hesitant and the guy told her well I'm charging you $75 for showing up and he would waive this fee if she did the work. He agreed to give her a discount on the repair. Her final bill was $166 for something I could have done for less than $5. Maybe it's just me, but $166 to replace a flapper seems INSANE. I will def be sure my Mom uses my plumber from now on. (A-Advantage Plumbing)

Heard pipes making noise so went and checked the water meter. Yes sir, I had a water leak. Called Pope plumbers.
David came out and identified the type and location of the leak under the foundation.
There was a problem with a faucet from the air compressor that showed up later. David came back out and fixed it no problem or charge.
Very happy. Yes we had some appointment issues, hence the 4 stars.

Pope plumbing is who we use at home and at our offices. They are the only plumber we trust to send out to our Heating and Air Conditioning clients.
Water heaters, slab leaks, clogged drains, toilet and sink repairs you name it they've repaired it.
Alway a good job at a fair price.

I was referred to this company by our condo management company. They had received good comments on them based on past work. My condo is 14 years old this month and I had five small, nagging plumbing issues that I wanted fixed. None was urgent, or even necessary really, but I just like things to work the way that they are supposed to work.
We made a call mid-afternoon on a Friday when we were in town and they were able to dispatch a technician, Jeff, to our uptown location by 5:00 p.m. that same day. Jeff took an hour and a half to solve all five problems. He was economical in his billing, at least as best I could tell, in that he didn't charge us for two of the procedures that just took a couple of minutes. Also, as I understood what he said, the charge for the first thing that they do is a certain amount, but each task they do after that is a lesser amount (all other things being equal) because they are already on the location. (Makes sense, but who knows what others do.)
So far, all the repairs look to be working fine. If I had any complaint, it was that Jeff was no as aggressive as I might have like in replacing things. Two toilet flow valves needed to be replaced. I queried whether or not it might make sense to just go ahead and replace the third while he was here even though that toilet wasn't hanging up. He said, "No. If it's not broken, don't fix it. I may last another 13 years." OK. Nice guy. The company seemed to be responsive and good folks. I was pleased and will call them again if I need a plumber.

In a word ~ terrible. . . . if I could give then no stars I would.
I was referred to this company by American Home Shield for several small plumbing jobs after we purchased a home. Made the original appointment on a Tuesday for them to come out the following day. They called and canceled saying it would have to be Thursday, no big deal things happen. Thursday rolls around, no show and no call. I called the office no less than 10 times with no answer or returned call. I called at lunch on Friday and told the person I spoke to how upset I was, they promptly did some moving around and asked if I could meet them that evening, which I did.
We had two toilets that wouldn't flush correctly, faucets that needed to be fixed, sinks that were not draining correctly, and a few other small things. After several visits/no-shows we called American Home Sheild and asked for another plumber (Roto-Rooter showed up on time as expected) who fixed everything in a single trip.
I ultimately missed work due to these guys - I would no recommend them to say the least.

I recently asked another plumbing contractor to bid on a job at my house. In doing so, the contractor inspected the work that Pope Plumbing performed on my house years ago. My new contractor could not have been more surprised. Pope Plumbing performed thousands of dollars worth of needless "repairs." In short, Pope Plumbing ripped me off. Do not use them.

I did ask to speak with a manager numerous times and was hung up on by jessica. I also was promised to recieve a call from the owner i am guessing is you and never recieved that either. Still VERY VERY poor costumer service. we have found a plumbing company that will return our calls and come when they say they will come. Thanks for your concern a month later

They were so good a couple of years ago. But they promised they'd be out today, late morning to early afternoon. This was to fix a water heater they installed a few years ago. Wouldn't you call the number pasted on your water heater in three different places? Tried to follow up but they don't answer their phone most of the time. I don't even know how many messages I left today. I'd give them zero stars if I could. And it's Friday. I could have called someone else this morning. Now its either pay someone else a premium or don't take any showers or wash any dishes for a whole weekend. When I did talk to someone, all she would say was "I placed a call out to several of the technicians and never heard back." Soooooooooooooooooo disappointing.

They called to let me know they were running a few minutes late then never showed up and did not answer the phones
