Lyn C.Our water filter needed to be changed. We watched YouTube videos and tried our hand. That's when things went south. We couldn't get the filter system to seal. We faced Super Bowl Sunday with no water. A call to ponds and we had the help we needed within minutes. We purchased our water heater an filtration system from Ponds. We'll keep our plumbing needs in their court. They are kind, responsive and smart. Thanks Steven Snowball !!!
Jason G.These people are great. I had an issue with my radiant heating, and it took a few tries to get the problem licked, but every tech I dealt with was very professional and kind. They came to my home promptly, multiple times, and get the issues resolved. They did a few extras for me, and I really feel they went above and beyond for me and my family. They have EARNED my business for life.
After having another plumbing company give me an estimate this morning I didn't feel comfortable. I decided to stop into Pond's Plumbing for a second opinion. I was greeted immediately and the estimate from pictures was about a third of the competitors estimate. Furthermore, it also included a garbage disposal with installation. If that wasn't good enough, they showed up a few hours later to install it. I will definitely call them next time I need any plumbing or heating work.
My tankless water heater was leaking and I caught it immediately so I called the manufacturer and they recommended some local plumbers who sell and work on this particular model. Pond's was first on the list so I chose them. Called them and they said Plumber would be out in a couple of hours.... no show. Called again and they said the next day.
He asked me several questions about how much I know about the model of water heater and what my occupation was and confirmed that I don't know much about doing these types of repairs.
He found the leak and quoted me the repair would take about 3-4 hours and cost about $410, but if I sign up for biannual maintenance ($400/year) then I get a discount so repair would be $375.
I said I would talk with my wife about it.
To make a longer story short, I ordered the part ($38.50) and did the repair in less than five minutes. Saving: $371.50.
I don't know why this guy costs so much and takes so long to do such a simple repair... Or maybe he wasn't being totally honest. I'll let you decide.
The faucet and the disposal in my kitchen had to be replaced. I called Pond's in Bountiful to keep my business local. I had been satisfied with Pond's in the past. Reasonable prices, fast and friendly service.
When I called to make an appointment, I asked how much I could expect to pay for this easy, standard job, but was told they couldn't say.
The plumber arrived punctually the next day and after a brief inspection of the job at hand, quoted a price of $444, inclusive the $75 fee for the estimate.
I found the price extremely high given the straight forward nature of the job. It took the plumber 1 1/2 hours. He did a good job. He deserves 5 stars.
However, I wish I had known ahead of time what it would cost to replace both items. A ballpark price would have been acceptable too. Then, I would have had a choice whether or not to hire Pond's for the job. Most companies give free estimates. In this case, I was stuck. I would either lose $75 just for knowing how much I would have to pay or I had to accept this, in my opinion, overpriced offer.

Our air conditioning wasn't working properly and I had delayed calling anyone. After two weeks of unrelenting heat, I began to check options. I called Pond's but they were booked out two weeks. I called another place that gave me a quick date but I could tell from the questions that they were going to try sell me a new air conditioner even though I was pretty confident we didn't need one. I had second thoughts and contacted Pond's again & they promised to get me in sooner if they had a cancellation. True to their word, I got a call the next day about a cancellation. I felt treated like a valued customer from beginning to end. The issue was minor and quickly taken care of. Their follow-up was thorough and I have recommended them to many people already and will not hesitate to use them again if I need them.
Austin M.The technicians and plumbers are as professional and awesome as you'd hope them to be, HOWEVER, they are backed by the worst office support imaginable. Why is it those office ladies can't figure out excuses are not what someone with a plumbing emergency wants to hear?! They refuse to give you even a time range for the plumber to arrive, they make excuses. They refuse to correctly follow up on an after hours emergency call, they make excuses. If you happen to miss their phone call, they will cancel the service without notifying you. Their Sercive Manager will not call you back, the office ladies make excuses. If you have a plumbing system failure, they will leave you waiting a week til you can get your water back and only with EXCUSES for cold comfort. If you have plumbing needs go ANYWHERE else.
My furnace stopped working recently, Kevin came out, took the needed time to figure out the problem and resolve the issue. I was impressed with how knowledgeable he was and not focused on trying to sell me something i didnt need that has been my experience with other companies
Travis I.I had my furnace break and needed some simple repairs. Jeff talked to me about the issue, and thankfully, knew exactly how to take care of the problem. They were good about working around my schedule. I was impressed that they kept the costs down.
Didn't even call me back to schedule a time to come look at my furnace. Don't wait up for these guys. On another visit they were very rude when I asked some simple questions. 2 strikes your out with me. Worst business I have ever been a customer of.
