First off I didn't use this service because no one ever responded to me and I had a huge pond that needed a lot of work so I'll just find someone else that responds.

Pondman is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Bill repaired a leak in my pond that other companies were unsuccessful at repairing, but they charged me anyhow. Bill checked out the pond and told me that I would not pay until it was fixed. And, he fixed it! Such a relief. He is so friendly and efficient and truly cares about his craft. A great guy, and a great company look no further.

Bill's entire team was very respectful of our wishes and finished the pond repair and remodel in the promised amount of time.
However, we are very picky and had a different vision for some of the rock placements. Knowing that contractors can be sensitive about their work we were hoping Bill would be amenable to the changes we wanted. He was so easy to work with and did exactly what we wanted and then some. He repaired plumbing in the pond which we didn't anticipate as an issue, but turned out to be the major reason we were losing so much water. He also put in several plants to give us the idea of softness it would add to the rocks. Additionally, he installed a valve to help us regulate the flow which has bothered us for over 10 years now; the original contractor told us nothing could be done about it. We now enjoy the sound of a babbling brook versus Niagara Falls.
I would highly recommend Bill and certainly would call him again if work is needed.

We worked with this company for a number of years successfully, however they seem to be spiraling downhill now. They charged a a step fee for work that resulted in a non-functioning pump within a week. We asked repeatedly for an Itemized bill, but it never came, phone calls were not answered etc. Finally someone came to ""fix"" the pond and it was non-functional again within two days. Sadly we're moving on.

Pondman is disorganized and unresponsive. Bill came out and said that they'd email me a quote. After a few weeks I didn't hear anything so I called them. The Bill lost the information and had to come out again.
I probably shouldn't have continued but I did.
The pond was installed and looked fine but then I noticed that it was leaking. It's been a couple of weeks and no response. They never respond to email or text. You can only leave a message and sometimes they respond. When they say they are going to come out they may or may not come.
They are just too frustrating to work with.

Bill did a great job fixing a small leak in my pond. He's honest and showed up on time. I would highly recommend Bill and his company.

Our ponds hadn't been maintained for about 15 years because it's hard to get some to come out to the boonies. The crew ""slogged"" through them tirelessly with positive attitudes and the ponds look great. Happy to be able to sign up for regular maintenance.

Once you work around Bill's receptionist / voice mail / email issues, he's really great to work with. I hired Bill to re-engineer a very large pond that another contractor never go right when he installed it. Bill was honest in his assessments, on time with his bid, and when he scheduled the work, he and his crew showed up on time and worked for three solid days to reconstruct the pond so that it would flow right. They fixed a lot of other little issues that the original contractor just didn't do right. Bill hires a crew that speaks English, actually knows something about ponds, and they put in a hard day's work. Honestly, 4 1/2 stars until there is an upgrade to the receptionist / voice mail / email issues, then Pondman from Ourponds is a solid 5-start company!

This is now my second time using Pondman. Great experience both times. He is able to come out and resolve the problem quickly. I don't understand most things about my pond and have many others come out for service. I am glad that I discovered Bill because I trust him and would call him for any future pond issues.

Bill seemed so pleasant when I spoke with him on the phone! He called me back in the morning and offered to come out that day after lunch. When he hadn't called by 2pm I called the office to see if they had an ETA and his receptionist was rude and had no idea I was on the schedule. She sounded like she could care less about the service. After another hour we ended up contacting someone who was 1) helpful and 2) customer service oriented. I called back to cancel, not knowing if Bill was planning on coming or not and left a voicemail. An hour later I called back to confirm that they received my cancellation and the receptionist gave a great big sigh and explained she hadn't checked the voicemails today. I thanked her for the help but let her know we were canceling and I got another big sigh and a frustrated ""ok"" and then she HUNG UP. What?!? I put my phone down and actually laughed. Bill, your work seems great but your receptionist is not doing your business any favors.
