Our founder serves as a Fifth-generation plumbing contractor. He has dedicated his life active with his family in the plumbing and construction sectors in Florida since childhood. Michael actually and routinely accompanied service calls with his dad starting at age four years old. His immediate family tree boasts more than 16+ plumbers & 9+ plumbing/general contractors in the Central and South Florida areas tracing back to the late 1800's. The Phillips family has participated in plumbing, construction & building materials that have gone into creating what we now know as Miami Beach also known as ""South Beach"", North Miami, North Miami Beach, including many other areas such as greater Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County and Polk County areas.

His great-great-grandfather William S. ""Snooky"" Phillips started ""Miami Plumbing and Heating"" in 1899 in Miami, Florida. His parent participated in construction & initial plumbing systems in the mid to late 1800s. Although little more is factually known about him than that, family tradition says he worked in construction and plumbing, employed by railroad tycoon Henry Flagler. He is regarded as one of the initial plumbing contractors in Florida to be awarded a plumbing contractor's license by Dade County, thanks to his ancestor's alleged affiliation with Henry Flagler & the fact that at that time little or no regulation or plumbing code at any level of government were in place. In those days the contractor's licensing was done at the county level and not at the state level as it is done today. For his relatives, the term ""Grandfathered Status"" has a true implication.
