The owner is a Fifth-generation plumbing expert. He has dedicated his life engaged with his relatives in the plumbing and construction sectors in Florida from a young age. He literally regularly joined service calls with his father starting at age 4. His direct relatives has more than 16 or more plumbers & 9+ plumbing/general contractors in the Central & South Florida areas dating back to the late 19th century. The Phillips family has participated in plumbing, construction & related materials that have gone into creating what we now know as Miami Beach commonly called ""South Beach"", North Miami, North Miami Beach, including many other places such as greater Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County and Polk County zones.

His ancestor William S. ""Snooky"" Phillips established ""Miami Plumbing & Heating Co."" in 1899 in Miami, Florida. William's parent was involved in construction & initial plumbing systems in the mid to late 1800's. Despite limited information about him than that, family tradition holds he participated in construction and plumbing, serving under railroad tycoon Henry Flagler. He is regarded as one of the initial plumbing contractors in Florida to be granted a plumbing contractor's license by Dade County, thanks to his father's alleged affiliation with Henry Flagler & the fact that at that time there were few regulation or plumbing code at any level of government were in place. At that time the contractor's licensing took place at the county level and not at the state level as it currently is. For his relatives, the term ""Grandfathered In"" has a true implication.
