When we needed a plumber to figure out why we weren't consistently getting hot water in our shower, it was difficult to figure out which plumbing service to use. When asking for quotes, we were told by other plumbing services that they would need to come first. We just wanted the hot water issue fixed ASAP at a predetermined cost. Fortunately, Emil responded with a very fair quote and was able to quickly and professionally fix our hot water issue. He was also very courteous as he even took off his shoes when coming into the house without us having to say anything. We appreciated his honesty in sticking with his quoted price and have been extremely happy with our shower ever since. Great experience with Polis Plumbing! I woke up the other morning to find we had no hot water and our water heater was leaking. I was eager to get it fixed or replaced that day. I found Polis on Yelp and was impressed by their great reviews, and the fact Emil took the time to reply to every one! I figured their customer service must be great, and I was right. They showed up that morning right on time, and installed a new water hear that evening. Extremely courteous and professional. I had an 8-year-old Eternal tankless water heater that developed a leak. Unfortunately, this company went bankrupt and the 20-year warranty useless with no spare parts available to fix it. Based on their reviews, reputation and long company history, I decided to replace it with a Rinnai RUR 199iN tankless water heater and the Rinnai MC-195T-US controller. I received estimates from several plumbers and Emil was the most responsive and competitive pricing of them all. He is also a Rinnai Advanced Comfort Expert (ACE) where it is required to have Level II Installation and Level III Service Training and comply with all Rinnai standard installation, service, maintenance and warranty policies among other things.

When you hire Polis Plumbing, you are hiring Emil who does the work himself. This is a positive compared to hiring a company that has a larger staff where you don't know who will be working on your plumbing. He is a professional, knowledgeable and seasoned plumber. He arrived for the appointment on time and proceeded to remove and install the new tankless water heater which took about 4 hours.

The copper pipe routing and installation were done very cleanly. Emil uses the Viega ProPress system which is a copper press fitting system. ProPress fittings have rubber O-ring inserts at the ends of the fittings that will be tightened securely to the pipe when it is pressed on by the ProPress tool creating a watertight seal. The installation tools and copper fittings are more costly than normal fittings, but the main advantages are that a plumber can save lots of time pressing fittings as opposed to sweating them with a propane torch and there is no risk of starting a fire.

The Rinnai water heater was installed inside the garage with the Rinnai controller installed behind the water heater inside my house for easy access. Emil showed me the basics for using the controller which is unfortunately not the most intuitive to use. However, there is a manual and YouTube for more training. He took care of registering the water heater with Rinnai and cleaned up nicely after completing the installation including taking away the old water heater. I would highly recommend Emil based on his responsiveness, competitive pricing, knowledge and overall professionalism which is hard to find all together in one plumber.

Great and HONEST company. Had a Tankless Water heater issue and Emil arrived on time as scheduled. Set price to Diagnose. He Disassembled it, cleaned it thoroughly, and via diagnostic equip was able to make some adjustments and get the thing working perfectly again. No attempts at major upgrades or replace this or that with this guy. Very honest & friendly to deal with.

Called Emil to do two separate work and he resolved or fixed the issue thhe same day. Really happy that he works on the weekend and arrives on time. He respect my house and removed his shoes before entering. The first issue was a toilet that needed to be reset. The bathroom also had a foul smell so I thought it was the toilet. Emil told me it was probably the shower and just needed to buy some drango. He was correct and it did the job. He asked if I still ll wanted to reset the toilet since it probably wasn't an issue. He was honest and could have easily lied. I had him reset it anyways.

While there I asked him to check out my upstairs shower cause it was making cranking louses. He sAid it was probably the cartridge and sure enough he was correct again. Again I ordered a new cartridge and shower head he came and installed it quickly and with ease. I would definitely call him again for any plumbing needs.

Our water heater began leaking and needed immediate replacement. I reached out to several plumbers - Emil offered the best quote and was available right away. He was very courteous, reliable and responsive, and took the time to answer our questions when it came to what type of water heater we needed to get. When we noticed the day of the install late that evening that water was not heating, he responded immediately and offered to look at it that night. Since that time, I have contacted Emil for other work, and he continues to be extremely responsive and goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied with the job he has done.
