We have one bathroom in our small home. The tub wouldn't stop spewing water even in the ""off"" position on a Saturday. They were able to come out that day and look at it and told us we needed a new faucet and handles set up for $1200, but then they weren't able to come back out until Monday. Come Monday they replaced the handles and faucet and left. I was thrilled to finally have a shower for the first time in three days, but first I had to rinse out allllllll the grime the left in my tub AND ON MY TUB MAT. It wouldn't come off my mat with just spraying it, so I turned the water off to go get something to scrub with. Only the water WOULDN'T SHUT OFF AGAIN. So we called them immediately, and they sent the same guys out again a couple hours later. This time when they left the water did turn off. However, they hadn't covered the drain the whole time they were working, and now the tub was completely backed up and not draining. How did they not notice and address this before leaving?? So we called back again. They told us they would come out Wednesday. So Wednesday they come out...for just an assessment. In that assessment they determined that they needed to replace all the plumbing under the house for $2000. They call us Thursday and tell us they will be out Monday to work on it. Um, no. I haven't showered in my own house in a week at this point, so I call them back and tell them that timeline is unacceptable. Due to my phone call they were able to come out Friday morning instead. The guys that came on Friday had the most time consuming way to go about things. They were at my house for 12 hours. And in that 12 hours they took it upon themselves to smoke cigarettes in our crawl space while they were working which stunk up my whole house. Also during that 12 hours they left the backdoor open AND the gate to the fence open and let my dog get loose. Their supervisor kept coming by and sitting in his car out front for huge chunks of time but never getting out to check their work or anything. Around 5:30 in the evening I was ready to go get dinner because I had no groceries. They told us they were almost wrapping up - then they were in my house for another 4 hours. It was completely frustrating trying to communicate with these people. And the icing on the cake? It's been a week and a half now, and I just found out that because they didn't put my bathroom sink back together properly it's been leaking into my brand new vanity since they were here. Totally incompetent.

A simple job of a intermittent running toilet turned into a comedy of errors. Four attempts to fix and of those attempts, they rescheduled or delayed five times. They never fixed the issue and the day before thanksgiving they came out and said that they may need to replace the whole toilet because the toilet I had was bought from Lowe's and they don't get the good ones. Finally they stopped returning my follow up calls and blew off the repairs. They ripped me off and never fixed the issue. I called another company out (review you can find on google) who discovered the fill tube was not clipped in properly. Did the work at no charge in about 20 seconds then stuck around to validate the repair. DO NOT HIRE THIS POLESTAR COMPANY!

Polestar has great speed and quality of service. The rep who helped us when our A/C unit had a leak was very friendly, courteous, respectful, and helpful. The only downside I have with them is that I think their financing and warranties are deceptive, though not by intent. They just seem unclear about their communications.

Our unit was covered by a full warranty but the labor was not. So when it came time to pay for the labor, the rep helpfully looked over financing options and showed some which seemed to be 0% interest financing for 9-12 months. I asked if there were any fees or other costs for using their financing, Thankfully he double-checked because at first he thought there were none. Upon investigation, it turned out their financing had very high costs that their advertising didn't show clearly. Read the fine print, folks. We found cheap financing through our bank and saved a lot over their ""0%"" option.

Very sloppy backfill and clean up. The sink holes at the foundation of my house, a huge dirt and debris mound created from fill leading toward foundation, as well as random debris from sewer line replacement were reported to our contact person with this company on several occasions. We were told multiple times that he personally would come out and have this taken care of and now, several months out, no attempt has been made by Polestar to correct the issue. The job that was done by this company cost me an unplanned $8,000 and I was told that I would only have to put some grass seed down when the job was complete. I am now spending more time and money to break up and move the dirt so that it will not cause future damage to the foundation of my house. I worked very hard to obtain this little house of mine (my first). I trusted this company to treat my home respectfully and I am very disappointed with the outcome.

Completely incompetent and unprofessional. Had them come to check on a plumbing issue in a rental property in Olathe, KS. They missed their 11-1 appointment timeframe by 3 hours and my tenant took off work to meet them. Told them 4-5 times they need a camera to scope the problem because it is most likely a line leak or break under the slab for the bathroom and when they showed up they didn't have a camera to scope the work and said they would have to come back Monday.

So far the experience has been dismal at best. The sewer repair job they did a couple weeks ago failed. Its been 24 hours since they were called back to send someone out. Five calls later and No one has shown up and no callback. They may be the worst. I would not recommend them to anyone but my worst enemy. Lawyers in the future. Absolutely the worst service ever.

The worst communication and customer service I have ever experienced with any company. Avoid them like the plague. Polestar made my tenant wait all day for them to show up. Polestar promised to be at the home between 8am-10am... 11:30am comes and they are a no show - no call. So I call them, Mike the tech guy says sorry and promises they will be there in 30-40 minutes. 2:30pm comes, still a no call and no show. I text Mike, he refuses to call or text back and when he should have apologized, or offered to make this right, instead he just ignores me. They copied down all the wrong contact info for my number, email, and tenant phone number. A terrible experience that I hope you can avoid. Way over priced as well. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They could not get my information correct on their application. They quoted 6.99% but then charged 7.99%, they said they'd waive the $89 estimate if we went with them and they still charged it. I was supposed to be a co-signer for my brother, they said we'd get the applications separately and yet they did not put him anywhere on the agreement and put this all on my credit. THIS IS ILLEGAL!!! On August 11th Polestar came and put in the new unit, they excavated the crawl space entry and have yet to come back- 11 days later to fix the entry PLUS they left the old units, cardboard, and all of their trash in the crawl space. I am going to put this message everywhere I can in hopes that no one else gets taken by them!!! Where has customer service and doing a job well, and complete, gone?! Oh, and to top it off, because they haven't fixed the giant hole they left, and it rained a horrendous amount, guess what....it has flooded again and we're not sure if it still works or not!

Horrible, told me they'd be there between 9-11. I called them at 11:30 and they told me they'd contact me between 12-2, again I was forced to call them at 3 after not hearing anything and was told I would be the next in line and to expect them shortly - finally left a voicemail around 7. Wasted an entire day waiting around for these people, they obviously overbooked and cared nothing about my time and figured if they could fit me in somehow they'd make some extra money. If not, who cares, it wasn't their time that was wasted.
