If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I purchased a home this last June here in Santa Fe which included a boiler unit for Radiant Heat in the floors. There was a name ""ED"" inscribed on the boiler that said to call for service. I did. That is where the catastrophe started. Ed mickey moused a part of the boiler with some wire to fix what was supposedly Carbon Monoxide not getting out to the elements. He also said the thermostats needed to be replaced. I hired them to replace the thermostats although other parties said they were fine. I also had a zone alarm that was bad which they insisted it was just the thermostat and not the zone alarm. Turns out it was the zone alarm AND I HIRED THEM TO REPLACE IT.

Fast forward to today when the weather got freezing. The boiler started freaking out, with water gushing out flooding my house. Their dispatch (who needs major training) was entirely clueless on how to respond to an incident as I was reporting. She was like, ""Oh, really? We'll get someone out there when we can. Deal with it until then."" Really? My house is flooding.

They sent Steve, a manager out to do pretty much nothing. I had already shut off the water so the flooding was not an issue.

I reached back out to them today to report there was still some issues with the system. Their reply? Get a second opinion. We are not coming back out.

When in Santa Fe, STAY CLEAR OF CARTWRIGHT PLUMBING AND HEATING.

I will be filing a claim in civil court to remedy this situation.

I hired Cartwright to turn on my 2 swamp coolers for the summer.
I also asked them to replaced the pads and belts. This is extremely routine , easy stuff.
When the young man handed me a bill for $600 I was Speechless! The last 4 years, using different providers, the bill has never been over $240.
Yes, they did a good job, but they're using a business as a method of price gouging (stealing) from customers and that's not acceptable.

I waited all day even with an early appointment with no notice.I described my needs which required a specialist and an inexperienced worker called and then needed to ask someone else. Lousy service. I will advise my contractor and other friends. I will never call again.

The technician servicing my heat system gave me an overview of what was needed. He was knowledgeable and polite. The repairs were made quickly and the system is working as it should.

RUN don't walk away from Cartwright's. Should be Cartwrong's. How they remain in business is beyond me. Rude technician. Poor equipment. Over $500 for nothing. Had to hire another plumber to do what Cartwright's couldn't/wouldn't do. Gave them one star only because I couldn't give them less.

Monday Anthony came to investigate a leak under our kitchen sink. The office staff were able to send one of their plumbers within a couple of hours. Anthony told me that a dishwasher valve had gone bad and the faucet needed replacing from hard water damage. While he worked, I went to Home Depot for a new faucet. He worked quickly and his assistant cleaned up and left the kitchen spotless.
I was very satisfied and will continue to use Cartwright Plumbing.

I have had good service with Cartwright's Plumbing. They replaced my hot water heater and have also worked on leaky pipes, faucets etc.. They come out in a timely manner and the prices have been fair.

I have been using Cartwright's to solve my heating and problems for more than a decade. They have always come to my aide. Rarely, there is a backlog and it takes a couple of days to get here. They are ordinary mortals, they occasionally make a mistake, and they cannot accomplish miracles and they are not cheap. There is a big trip charge for the first call. You must be prepared to pay. If you want good quality work, call Cartwright's.

I called Cartwright's to handle a burst water main to my house this past Saturday morning. They sent someone out Saturday afternoon to take a look. That person said they would start working on the problem Sunday or at the latest Monday. Sunday passed with no contact. Monday morning passed with no contact. When I called them on Monday around noonish, the person from Cartwright's said the workers were supposed to have been there first thing in the morning. Several hours passed with no call from Cartwright's. When I called back again, they said workers would be at my house first thing Tuesday morning. When they didn't show up on Tuesday morning, I called another plumber who arrived within two hours. When the Cartwright's plumbers showed up at 11am on Tuesday, I politely told them that waiting three days for this repair when they promised to do it in one, with no explanation, is not OK and I found another company to do it. The man replied ""It's not my job, so I don't care,"" and left.

I learned through this debacle that Cartwright's subcontracts out its jobs, and in my case, that subcontractor subcontracted out my job again. What I suspect happened is that the sub-subcontractor didn't feel like doing the job and just didn't show up.

Because of Cartwright's I will be without water in my home for an additional three days.

Long story short: Absolutely no customer service, no courtesy, and they don't care about your business -- even for large, expensive jobs like mine. Avoid at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible business.
