Adding my five stars to the others. Cody came and fixed several nagging plumbing issues, including a toilet that a previous plumber had not handled correctly, which had resulted in a large water bill. Showed me why water meter indicated we didn't have leaky pipes, and why toilet was the problem -- and a fast, easy, and inexpensive fix. Total bill was very reasonable, although I gladly would have paid more to finally have this stuff off my list. We walked around our house last night marvelling at all the things finally working properly. Agree that Cody's text communication is helpful and saves time -- sent him a photo of shower type so he could buy part in advance. For next plumbing issue I won't wait -- he will get our call immediately.

Cody did a great job for me. He analyzed my problem right away, and because he had asked me to text him a photo before he came, he was able to bring all the right parts. He was totally prompt, professional, courteous and definitely knew what he was doing. He made sure everything was clean, and working, before he left. Highly recommend him. Cody responded to my message requesting service very quickly -- he came over the same morning, fixed my clogged kitchen sink quickly and was very friendly. He also explained the technique he was using to fix it, which I also appreciated. Would definitely recommend him!

I called Cody today because my garbage disposal was backed up. He was available the same day, and was at my home within a couple of hours.

Cody was quick to explain the different problem areas he check first, and how to fix them on my own. Once he identified the problem (about five minutes in), he showed me what tool I needed to fix it and also demonstrated how should I ever have the problem again. I was very impressed by this because he stands to make more if I don't know how to fix it myself and have to call him again next time.

Cody was professional and his services are reasonably priced. I'll be recommending him to my friends and family from now on.

Cody, the owner, is amazing! I called him early in the am and he got right back to me and said he would stop by on his way to another job. He is busy because he is good. He is very professional, friendly, clean, skilled and prepared. He quickly diagnosed the problem (a leak under the kitchen sink) and repaired it. Based on my experience from working with our previous plumber for years to the experience of speaking to several plumbing services for estimates for our recent plumbing job which brought us to Cody, I can say that Cody of Polansky Plumbing stood out, shined and delivered above and beyond our expectations. Our go to plumber of years had always been great but lately began to send a, although very experienced, new employee to handle plumbing service calls. Said new employee never did the job quite right and on every occasion had to be called to return to touch up/tighten/properly adjust/etc his work. Thus, I set out in search of a new plumber for a simple job of replacing appliance gas shut off valves. Upon inspection of the job our former plumber said this would be a tough job, that it would require 2 to 3 hours and he couldn't provide me a cost estimate.

I contacted (called and texted) multiple plumbing companies. I encountered an 'inexplicable' wide range of cost and time required estimates although I provided a detailed explanation of the job including pictures. I even came across one plumbing company who informed me of a 50% hourly surcharge due to the distance traveled to our home. On the other hand, Cody responded to my morning phone call promptly, with an estimate for labor + parts, a mention that is was a fairly simple job, and, although he was busy, offered to come by and inspect to confirm the estimate. Although we hadn't confirmed whether we would hire him to do the job, Cody purchased the parts necessary for the job on his way to our home for the estimate inspection! Unlike our previous plumber who consistently never had quite the right parts. Upon his inspection Cody confirmed the cost estimate, walked us through the necessary steps for the job but wasn't at all pushy. On the spot we gave Cody the green light to do the job. Cody completed the job in about 20 minutes! Cody was friendly, respectful, professional, and showed and explained what he was be doing. He was thorough and upon our request took the extra time and effort to hook up our appliances at no charge after he was done with the original job.

With regards to the previous reviewer's comments (March 2014) regarding the price for parts: Cody provided us an exact quote for labor and parts prior to the job. He stuck to it. When it came to the parts, although I didn't ask him to, he showed me the packaging for the parts he had purchased which had the price tags attached. This amount closely matched his original estimate for parts. In, short, Cody didn't mark up the parts.

I highly recommend Cody of Polansky plumbing. We have already told our neighbor about him. We will definitely contact Cody again shall future plumbing needs arise.
