My plumbing company told me that they only handle drainage problems. Thank heavens for that as it led me to Cody. After reading his reviews I wanted to try him. I was pleasantly surprised he was able to come the very next morning. I had a issue with my bathtub faucet that he fixed without me having to buy any spare parts. Very honest, just saw the problem, did some adjustments and it was fixed. I wondered if he could recommend someone to fix my furnace. He asked what the problem was and within a few minutes he had that fixed too!! GREAT morning for me!! To quote someone else, he will now be my go to guy.

I first hired Cody to change out my kitchen faucet and the plumbing underneath. His pricing was very reasonable and he did a great job--making sure that the area was kept clean and everything was perfectly positioned.

But I didn't get to truly experience Cody's genius until the second time I hired him. I'd had another plumbing company (also one that gets 5 stars on Yelp) come several months earlier to do a bunch of random things in my house, including install a new anchor in a Kohler toilet and change out a gas pipe under my fireplace. That first company that came changed the anchor on the toilet--but did it wrong--leaving me with the same problem I had before the anchor was changed. They also spent a long time on the fireplace, and told me that it was impossible to change out the pipe without having a contractor come out and dismantle the entire fireplace--tearing out the tile and then replacing it after the pipe was changed. This was going to cost me hundreds of dollars and was a project I really didn't want to undertake.

So Cody came over to change out one of my toilets. When he was done, I mentioned the anchor on the other toilet, and he was like ""let me take a look."" Seriously--within 10 minutes he fixed it--properly! Then, as I was walking him to the door, I mentioned the fireplace thing, and he again said, ""let me take a look."" No joke--he had the old pipe (and valve, which was also bad) out within about 10 minutes--then ran to Home Depot to get a replacement, came back, and had the fireplace working again. I was shocked, since I watched the guys from the other company spend so much time trying to figure out how to do it, before ultimately telling me it couldn't be done.

I'm so grateful to have found Cody. I now feel that whenever a plumbing issue comes up, I have an honest, reliable, won't-drain-your-bank-account partner who's up for challenge, or up to do the small stuff--whatever. I couldn't be happier!

Just called Polansky about replacing a leaky toilet valve and Cody got back to me immediately. He then asked if I would like to try trouble shooting over the phone. He told me exactly what to do and which bolts to tighten and my toilet leak appears to be alleviated without time or money spent! I am thrilled and so pleased to have found such an honest plumber. Tenants had dislodged the hot water handle and were leaving for the weekend so I was called to duty. After much research, this seemed like the guy to go to!

I made quite a few phone calls with no answer or call backs. I finally texted with my explanation and photos of the problem. Alas, a very quick response! Things were looking up!

Then I read said response. A professional, I think not. A plumber should not only know where to purchase the supplies he needs for a job, but also how to spell the fixtures he works on.
