Recommended Customer Reviews

As a contractor, I know I can trust Poland Drain Openers when I need a plumber. They are very professional and their prices are fair. I highly recommend them. They are great human beings who take time with their customers.

This company was assigned to me thru AHS warranty company to fix a plumbing problem on March 20, 2015 and today, April 7, 2015 the problem still have not been fixed. They promise that they will come out and don't. What makes the matter worse is that they do not call to let you know that they are not coming out. We have been leaving phone messages for over a week now and no one will call us back. I wouldn't recomment this company to my worse enemy! They are unreliable and have all kind of excuses for not returning your call and for not coming out. NEVER again will I use this company. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THEM. If there was a rating for 0, I would have given them that star because giving them a 1 star is really pushing it. AHS warranty company should be ashame of themselves for recommending them.

The company (POLAND) was assigned through my home warranty company AHS......Poland showed up and initially repaired my tub leak, which I noticed wasn't 100% complete. However I have tried to contact them for a copy of my repair receipt and follow up question about my repair that I need for my homeowners insurance. I initially received a call back stating they would look up the information and I would receive a call back within an hour. That NEVER HAPPENED! I've been calling daily for the past 2 weeks and NEVER received a call back. I will never use this UNPROFESSIONAL company again, and I have contacted my home warranty company to remove them from their list of service providers. AHS has tried to contact them unsuccessfully as well.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS for such a minor request.

I have to agree with Crystal R. ~ I was assisnged this company through my AHS insurance. We've had folks come out that AHS sent before, but they really did come, look, said what they could and couldn't do and then bounced. Poland Plumbing was the first plumbing company that came, observed what the issue was, explained and educated us on it and then fixed it. While one worked on the toilet the other drained the tubs in all of our bathrooms. When they were done, they did a check and then they left. They were freindly in a calm cool way (almost like your brother or cousin or something) and then they left.
That was over a year or two ago and we discontinued our service with AHS and now we have an issue with the upstairs toilt and all of our tubs need draining. I found their invoice from the first visit and guess who we're calling. Yep, Poland.
I would recomend them to my friends and family.

They showed up and ""unclogged"" the drain. A week later the problem occurred again. I called and left a message, someone called me back and we arranged to have them come out at a specific time because that was the ""only day"" ""and the latest"" they could come out. The day of the appointment, I rushed home from work and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. I called and left a message but never got a call back until I called again 2dys later and left a message. Someone called back and said he wasn't sure who I had spoken to but he had no record of my appointment. Now he was playing with my intelligence...lets just say I didn't speak to someone and make an appointment, wouldn't common sense and good business etiquette have you call back after hearing a message about a missed scheduled appointment? Well, here I am waiting on them again with a tub filled with backed up sewage...it is after 2pm and my window time was 10-2pm. I left them a message at 1:51 and no one has called back. I will be informing my home warranty company and encourage them to consider removing them from their database of contractors. This is unacceptable business practice. I paid for a service with a 30 days warranty and they aren't keeping their end of the bargain. I will never use them again.

I totally disagree with the other two reviews. The plumbers showed up to my house on time and friendly. Not only did they perform the job in a timely manner but they were cheaper than 3 other companies that I had come to my home. As far as wanting to help minority business? Crabs in a bucket. That's all I have to say about that. I have recommended them to all of my friends because it is hard to find a trust worthy honest plumber and these guys don't try to rob you blind. I will definitely use them again if any plumbing problems arise in my home.

Definitely have to agree with the other reviews here. Got them through my home warranty company to fix a simple toilet issue. They did the job in January and as I sit here in March I'm having the same issue. I scheduled an appointment with them to come back this past weekend to take a look and they didn't even bother to show. He told me he was running late, but that was after I had to call him to see where they were. I agree with Essence. I'm black and I would love to uplift black-owned businesses, but sadly this isn't one I can recommend in good faith. Avoid.

THE most unprofessional plumbing company that I have ever encountered. They were assigned by my home warranty company for a repair. We were told that the repair wasn't covered, but they were willing to do the job independently. Ultimately their work was inadequate--chose sub-par equipment--and would not answer or return phone calls. Additionally, they didn't bother to show up for the 2 scheduled appointments to correct their work. It's unfortunate that they strengthen the stereotypes about minority business owners.

Don't ever use them...My home warranty assigned them to unclog the drainage and they only spent 10 mins to do the work and claimed they finished the job and took off while back-flowing at the kitchen. I ended up spent $250 to hire another plumber to finish the work. Lousy plumbers
