I am finally getting to this review after months of needing help with an in-between wall leak--or so I thought it was.

My call to Pocket Plumbing resulted in a super fast to reply to my quote request. The guy was nice. And when it came time to meet him at my home was punctual. If only his customer service was 1/2 decent, I'd be writing a very different review right now and wouldn't have had to scramble to find someone else to check out my leak.

As I mentioned, he was super fast. I talked to him by phone and agreed on a date/time for him to come check out my leak that was keeping me from using our clothes washer, which was a certifiable T.R.A.G.E.D.Y being that we are family of four in which two members are small children who somehow, someway wreck their clothes everyday!

Anyway, I give him my address and we agreed on a date/time. He then surprises by answering my question about cost by saying it will be FREE. So, he shows up on the agreed date/time and as I exit my home to greet and thank him he says, ""maaaan we are starting off on the wrong foot."" I figure he's kidding and don't really understand why, but smile and ask ""why?"" figuring he will say that I'm wearing NINER gear or something like that. No, he goes on tell me he does free estimates for the Pocket and Land Park neighborhoods, neither of which I live in.

Despite his explanation, I figure he's playing with me. I say ""are you serious right now?"" And he starts to tell me something about ""he has his costs"" or some similar statement. I interrupt and tell him we are done here, good-bye. Not only was I pissed about not having my washer problem looked at, I was pissed I took time off from work, and pissed about the fact that he should have looked at my address, called me and said estimates are not free for Meadowview. And, by the way, Meadowview is closer to the Pocket than Land Park.

So, after that fiasco, and not being willing to wait for another plumber to come take a look, I decided to cut into my drywall and fix the damn thing myself and ended up saving myself some money because it turns out there was no leak in the wall. Instead, I just needed to purchase and replace a washing machine hose! Sliver lining?

My husband and I recently started remodeling our kitchen and when the granite and new sink install was complete found ourself needing a plumber to reinstall our new faucet and modify our existing plumbing.

Charles is a rockstar. Very prompt service at competitive rates for snaking a main line. The previous owner had tapped the pipe to snake it by breaking the pipe and placing an abs riser over the hole, which is not legal. Charles notified and showed me it, so I had him fix it. He put in a legitimate clean out with boxes in case of future issues. I would definitely use him again.

I would give this company 10 stars if I could! Charles answered my 830pm and had someone at the house by 10am despite a backlog in work. Charles was able to repair the leaking water valve and additional leaks immediately and at a reasonable price. Pocket Plumbing will always be my number 1 choice for plumbing needs!! Charles was able to fit me in the Friday before Labor Day, which was greatly appreciated because our sink was starting to back up. Brandon was prompt, courteous, and efficient at diagnosing and fixing the problem. If/when we have more plumbing issues, I am glad to have found a small business nearby that does such a good job. When we found that out hot water heater leaked on Friday, he was at my house tackling the problem first thing Monday morning. He gave me and my wife the straight story on how best to resolve it, giving us all options, patiently answering all questions. He does a clean, no-nonsense job the whole way through.

This is a late review but a well deserved one! It was late in the evening with two kids & my plumbing completely had clogged. No running toilets, shower was rising; it was terrible. I was recommended to Charles from Pocket Plumbing. He was under a house when he answered my call and I explained to him my problem. He came right over after he was done.
Charles had his working van with his business name on it and ready to do the job. Throughout the process, he is extremely knowledgeable at his craft and communicates in easy to understand plumbing terms.

He will forever be my first choice and my first recommendation for anyone with plumbing issues.
