Plymwr Plumbing
Company Overview
Hello, I’m Robert, the proud owner of Plymwr Plumbing. I bring two decades of plumbing expertise to the table. I kicked off my plumbing path during summer breaks in high school. College wasn’t the right fit for me, so immediately after graduating high school, I became a member of the plumbers' union. I was part of the union for 8 years, until my brother and I launched our first plumbing business together. After 8 years, I took the leap to start my own business. At Plymwr Plumbing, we aim to be the most reliable, honest, and affordable plumbing service in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

I've had these guys out twice through my old home warranty company. With basic jobs, they seem okay, however I recently had a slab leak and they were again dispatched to my house. I previously had my normal plumber, who I've used for 10 years, diagnose the issue as a slab leak under the kitchen. This was confirmed with pipe noise and a thermal camera. To save money, I first tried to use the home warranty, and Plymwr was sent out. I told them the issue and where exactly it was, however the kid they sent out seemed to ignore my issue and instead say it was likely a drain pipe leak and recommended they drop a camera into the pipe to confirm. This was obviously not the case, since water was actively running and draining under the slab (it eventually made its way up into the kitchen). The estimate was $550 out of pocket, not covered by my warranty to simply scope the drain pipe. I explained in detail that the issue wasnt a drain pipe, but I clearly wasn't enough. Not sure if they didn't want the work or are incompetent, however this job was served on a silver platter, and I explained the issue as clearly as I could. I ended up paying out of pocket for my normal plumber, who came out and fixed my slab leak in about three hours by sleeving the leaking pipe. The leak was exactly where it was originally discovered. Long story short, I'd stay away from this company if the job is anything other than replacing a garbage disposal or swapping out a shower head. They were somewhat pleasant to deal with though, and the tech that came out was nice, he just seemed like he was in a little over his head and was repeating the standard company playbook.

So many negative reviews! I couldn't be happier with these guys. Our water heater went out, and there is never a good time for that, but a holiday weekend makes it worse. We had to go through our home warranty company, AHS, and the first company they sent us through was over a week out, and Plymwr Plumbing got to us within 24 hours. Matt came out and did the initial assessment. It was possible it could be a quick and easy fix, but alas, not our luck. The water heater was over 16 years old and, of course, not up to code, so there would have to be modifications. Matt put in the request and submitted whatever paperwork needed to be done, and even with the holiday weekend, they got the job done, bringing everything up to code within days. ""Days"" seems like a long time, but when you're working with an insurance company over a holiday weekend, that's actually just short of miraculous!
Matt and Devon were here today and did the installation. It went super smooth. It looks great, it works great, no mess, and they were extremely professional! They explained every bit of the process and showed me what I needed to know, settings, warranty paperwork, new code upgrades, etc.
I saw someone else posted photos of the shirts they wear! What excellent marketing. They're cute, make you laugh, and they're conversation starters. My husband laughed out loud. If you're looking for a Plumber, these guys are great. Look for their pink trucks, great slogans, and even better workmanship!

This so called Plumber was sent out to my home by American Home Shield Home Warranty to fix faucet and pressure in my tub/shower on 5/29. They also told me that need to do pipe modification to repair problems. I still no cold water in that unit!!! I'm over 80 years old and I called this elder abuse. They want to charge me $600 to fix what they made worse. I'm going to the state contractor's board. They people have to be stopped!! Crooks

Darren is super awesome and helpful, clean and company will always be honest, will keep coming back!

I would give a zero rating if I could. I booked my appointment 3 1/2 weeks in advance so I could make arrangements to be home for the 4 hour window and possibly beyond that time depending upon when they arrived. I was called at 5pm the night before my scheduled appointment date and told that they had a morning cancellation and asked if they could come between 8am - 11am instead of 10am - 2pm. I told them that I needed to stick to my original time due to a medical appointment that I had at 8:30am. They put me on hold and then came back and told me that they could only come in the 8-11am window. I could not reschedule my medical appointment with this late notice as the medical office was closed and would likely not have any openings since I had booked the medical appointment over a month back (before scheduling my plumbing appointment). I requested to speak with the manager and was told she was gone for the day and the owner was on vacation. I called when they opened at 8am the following morning and attempted to leave a message for the owner - his mailbox was full. I then called back and waited 10 minutes to speak to someone and requested to speak with the manager. I was told that they would ask her to call me. It has now been nearly 4 hours since my call and no call back. Their lack of courtesy for the time of other people is horrible business practice. Their professionalism is severely lacking. Thankfully my insurance company was able to call another plumber who is here right now in the window that I had scheduled with Plymwr, taking care of the problem. Thank goodness there are great plumbers out there with excellent customer service. Plymwr is NOT that type of business.

If I could give this off brand company no stars....I would do it in a heart beat. AHS took more than a week to schedule the dishonest techs, Then the so-called supervisor is just rude and don't know how to talk to his customers. I wouldn't recommend this company for no one. There is no courtesy, no professionalism, and no respect coming from the staff. Beware! Beware! Beware! Effective immediately, I am dropping AHS because they are a Titanic sinkable company that uses low quality and very disrespectful vendors that try to sink you with their horrible and pitiful reputation. Trust me, you will continue to loose customers until your staff can speak to people with respect. Is this how you run your establishment Mr.Clifford? I am glad I recorded your supervisor. It will help me with my complaint to the BBB. It doesn't matter that you deleted your emails, I screen shot them.

We want to thank Phil who installed our new water heater and hot water circulating pump today. Phil did an outstanding job for us! We would recommend this company and especially Phil for his professionalism and kind service to us in Big Bear today.

Do not hire! This company was sent by American Home Shield and just like the other companies they send, they find a way to recommend work that's not covered by their coverage. I asked Plymwr for a detailed estimate of what they were proposing to fix but they never sent it. I've learned from other issues to always request documentation. I still have a potential leak and I'm still trying to find a reputable company.

Our kitchen faucet was old and needed replacing. The service technician was very informative, answered all our questions and provided awesome service. We would definitely use them again in the future if needed.

We got a leak from our toylet. Darin from this company came over and fixed it very quickly. He was very polite and skilled.
