I called because the flex hose on top of my water heater was spewing water and there was a lot of water on the floor. From a YouTube video, I saw that it was relatively short and easy to fix, but still wanted a professional to fix it. I called Plymouth Plumbing and Heating and got a quote of $149 an hour, $25 travel charge plus parts and labor.

2 workers came (i was surprised by this, but figured one of them was on the job training) and told me what I already knew....the flex hose needed to be replaced and finished the job in about 30 minutes. I expected a bill about $275.

The bill was for $413. I was a bit surprised that their hourly rate starts from when they leave the shop (20 minutes away), which I was not told about. But what really surprised me was that I was billed $280 for the labor done by the two workers. I was quoted an hourly rate of $149 and the actual work took about 30 minutes. Even with traveling time of 40 minutes, that would be at the most 1.10 hours, nowhere near $280.

After several correspondences, they still insisted that I owed for the labor of the extra worker...even though they never said in their quote that the labor per hour would be doubled if they sent two workers!

I believe that Plymouth Plumbing & Heating acted in bad faith. They should go by what they quote. The work done was fine and they used copper fittings instead of flex hose, but it was not worth $400 job.

They did deduct $50 after I complained, but the bill was still at least $50 more than what I expected , based on their quote and how long it took to do the work.

I would definitely ask them to i get a more solid quote BEFORE they start.

I recently woke up to my water softener spraying water out the top like a geyser!? I was able to turn off the water, but the damage was already done. I called Plymouth Plumbing & Heating just before they opened. To my surprise they answered like they were expecting my call! They had a plumber to my door within the hour who was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. He installed a new professional grade water softener and encouraged me to contact the manufacturer of the previous store bought brand as it appeared to be a manufacturer defect. The product he installed is working great and they have a lifelong customer for all my plumbing needs moving forward!! Thanks a million, Plymouth Plumbing & Heating!!!

We had a quote from Plymouth Plumbing and Heating to complete three jobs (dishwasher install, shower mixer valve and shower head replacement, and outdoor sillcock/faucet replacement) for a combined estimate of $300-$400 for all three jobs. A different plumber than Jack, the quoting plumber, came a week later to do the repairs. He was only able to do the dishwasher job and said the shower could not be completed at the time because he didn't have the correct tools and parts with and would require an additional $400+. The sillcock he said could not be completed at all. We were fine with this and went forward with the dishwasher installation. The plumber was there for about an hour total. He did a fine job as the dishwasher now works. However we were extremely disappointed with Plymouth Plumbing and Heating when the bill arrived. They charged almost $270 for the dishwasher installation alone. I called to see if there was a clerical mistake as the other two jobs quoted for the original $300 were not performed. They assured me the pricing was correct. So, they asked over $250 an hour for a dishwasher installation and were obviously incredibly deceiving with their quote.

We just had two toilets & two faucets replaced. When I e-mailed a requested for an estimate Kathleen responded in one day. She was very helpful & got me the information within 2 days. She scheduled the work to be done 2 days from then. Logan called to let me know when he would be arriving that day and was on time. He was very efficient, made sure everything was clean when he was done. Showed me how the toilets operated & told me if any problems or leaks should occur to call them immediately. I found the price to be reasonable and below the estimate. I highly recommend their services.

We had Gary from Plymouth Plumbing & Heating. Not only was he an absolute pleasure to deal with but he was very professional. The advice he gave was from what he would do himself, bot what is going to bring in the biggest $$. He was at our home for 2 days, and everything he worked on works absolutely the way it should. I would totally reccomend Plymouth Plumbing & Heating to anybody and everybody. They make you feel very comfortable and treat you like family. 5 Stars for sure!!! ?
