Cesar installed a AC/heating unit at my house. It took longer than estimated, but it runs well. The bad thing is that his worker damaged a wall in the process, said he would repair it and never did. Calls and text to Cesar have gone unanswered. I later found out that they never got a permit for the installation and the unit was not inspected. The work was done well so what's the reason for being so shady? Hmmmm.... me wonders. I've called him dozens of times but he never answers. Would NEVER use him again, and would never ever recommend him.

This plumbing company should not be in business. The day that they were supposed to replace a component of a radiator, master plumber Cesar showed up just to say that they don't have the correct part. The appt had been scheduled for a few days and they could have let me know that they could not make it but chose not to. They rescheduled an appt on a Saturday at 9am and the time was confirmed twice. They showed up at 11am. No apology was offered. When I reminded them that the appointment was at 9am, the plumber states ""Oh, the parking is so bad."" Of note, their office is a few blocks away from my building. Cesar and his assistant proceed to do work and then left without saying anything. I had to call the owner to find out what was happening. They finally returned around 45 minutes later without any explanation.
When the job was over, my bedroom was full of smoke. According to Cesar, he could do nothing about this and it would resolve in time. I advised Cesar that he could have educated me about what to expect so that I would not be surprised. I told him that I have asthma and that I am sensitive to things like this. He told me that he told the owner of my unit. I explained to him that the owner did not tell me and that since he was in my home for the past few hours that he had the opportunity to tell me himself. He told me that since the owner of my unit was paying him, that he did not consider me his customer. I advised him that anyone that he comes in contact with during the duties of his job should be considered a customer and treated accordingly, because people talk and spread word about contractors. He told me that I was definitely not his customer and I asked him to leave my home immediately. He stood there for several minutes, looking at me in a menacing manner, as if he was challenging me. I had to tell him two more times, loudly, to get out. I was hoping that I would not have to call the police. He walked out, calling me a b*tch and n*gger as he did. I don't think I have to say that I would not recommend him again.

Don't waste your time, we waited the whole day for him to show up. Stopped answering my calls, when we tried from a different line he picked up said he would come and never showed up.

Simply amazing. Will only use Cesar from now on when anything regarding plumbing or heating comes up.

We have used this Plumbing service 3 times in the last 6 months, 2 of which were building and apartment emergencies. After 8 years of using terrible plumbers with terrible customer service we finally found a great plumber who services Hoboken! All the work was completed the day of the consultation and the first phone call was returned right away! I called with an emergency very early in the morning, had a phone call by 7:30am and Ceasar was there right away. He ordered us a new water heater and had it installed before the end of the day! On top of it he helped fix a leak in our shower and adjusted our heated water in the shower free of cost! This is a family business and everyone is so nice! I highly recommend this service!

My husband and I wanted to replace 4 old radiators in our apartment with new modern ones.

We spent a whole day waiting for Cesar Carpio from PlumEx to show up and do an in-home estimate. It took numerous phone calls, voicemails and text messages, but he finally showed up at 7 in the evening. He offered 101 excuses as to why he was so ridiculously late. And he gave us a big speech about his so-called work ethic. (He promised to never be late if we hire him for the job.)

He identified the type of radiator we had incorrectly. He insisted that it was hot water when it was in fact steam. He also didn't want to provide us with an estimate for the cost of his labor. And that's why we called him in the first place. (We were going to provide the new radiators ourselves.)

He was supposed to meet with our superintendent at 9:00 a.m. on the following morning in order to check out the boiler room. But he never bothered to show up. He didn't answer my husband's calls and he didn't return his text messages.

It's the last time I ever try to hire some independent contractor who does ""business"" from his apartment. It's frustrating and a complete waste of time. Do yourself a favor and call a real company.
