I cannot say enough about the Plumbtastic Plumbing team. They were very responsive and courteous, were able to schedule our non-emergency appointment within 3 days, and quickly and professionally handled what turned out to be a very minor issue (we're new homeowners and were perhaps too quick to call the professionals rather than try and fix the issue ourselves).

Oh, and the best part - they didn't charge for the service! Granted, it took less than 5 minutes, but I still expected to pay at least for the fact that they drove to Capitol Hill and put us on their Saturday schedule. But no, they politely declined and moved on to their next appointment. You can bet that they have customers for life now, though. If we ever have a plumbing issue my first and only call will be to Plumbtastic.

I've had these guys come out thrice now, for three separate things. Each time, they were friendly, fast, on time, and most importantly didn't charge an arm and a leg for fixing my two toilets and sink. I had random questions about other plumbing stuff, and they gave me a great variety of tips and tricks. They are my go-to plumbers.

My water heater was broken, so I called up Plumbtastic and was initially impressed that they were able to get someone out to me the next day. That was the high point, though. When the plumber showed up, he didn't have any tools with him - not even a screw driver or electrical testers, the two most basic things you would need to figure out why an electric water heater isn't working.

He didn't seem terribly interested in trying to fix the heater, though, and could only talk about replacing it. He called his manager and asked him to find out about replacement options, but I never heard back from either of them

I'm actually glad I didn't hear back from them about replacements, though, because I had another plumber from another company come out the next day. He actually brought tools with him, and using those tools was able to track down a simple wiring problem and fix it in about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, I had to spend another day without hot water while waiting for that plumber since Plumbtastic wasn't able to do anything.

Kirby came to fix some items that were on the inspection report from my prospective buyers. He was totally awesome and charged only for what actually needed to be done, which ended up being a lot less than the estimate he had given. He was honest and fair.

We have used Plumbtastic twice this week. Its just been one of those weeks. In both cases they came within 2 days and fixed the problem, replacing a sink hose, correcting a hot water problem and replacing a leaking garbage disposal. They were efficient, friendly, clean, and very responsive. We couldn't have asked for better service.

The people of this company are lovely. They gave me a fair quote and guestimate of the cause of my pluming issue. When they arrived, it turned out to be a very simple fix. They instructed my husband on the issue so that he could fix it in the future. Courteous and prompt!

5 Stars for Kirby and Brent on a job they did for me last month. We replaced our expensive to operate electric water heater with a gas fired ""power vent"" unit. Like every retrofit, there were a number of challenges to solve, and Kirby and Brent solved them all. The connection was made more complicated by the need for additional piping for the gas supply and the exhaust. Kirby and Brent were responsive, professional, courteous, got the job done right. And they saved me $, big time. The job came in at a 38% discount from two of the larger plumbing firms in the area. I will engage these guys again, and I recommend them highly.

The Plumbtastic guys were really great. They were at my house and working on the clogged drain within half an hour of my call. They cleaned up after themselves and we're nice to my dogs too. It's not cheap but they are definitely worth it.

They did excellent work. Called for a bad wax ring which caused my toilet to leak into my basement. My wife told me about a bad shower spigot the night before they arrived. I showed it to them & asked if they had time to fix it. I wasn't expecting a ""yes"" & told them I could have them come back a different day. They said if they had the part they could fix it. They checked the van and both issues were repaired within a hour. I will definitely use them again.
