I called PlumbPros yesterday because they advertised """"Flat Rate Pricing."""" When I requested pricing on reseating a toilet, which is a very basic job, I was told that they do not quote prices, and that I would have to make an appointment without knowing their fee. I am very reluctant to make an appointment a company that does not do what their ad claims that they will do. Melissa, who answered the phone, made me feel that she was aggravated by my calling her.

Prompt and efficient - Jack came out to take care of my pipes; he was thorough, explained the issues and provided guidance on minor issues that I can easily address myself. Prices were fair/competitive and didn't try to up sell me services. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

The company came in to fix a leak, completely and half hazardously tore apart my bathroom wall while standing on my new marble counter tops (no ladder), did a sloppy job fixing the leak, left a huge mess and charged me more than double than other companies. Would not recommend them to anyone.

PlumbPros is the best! We have used them several times over the years, and they are the only number we call with plumbing problems. 2 days ago we thought our basement sewer pump was dead, and were expecting we'd be spending a bucket of money to replace it. Melvin came out (exactly on time) and spotted/fixed the problem in less than a minute. Then he refused to charge me for the call. He also encouraged me to call PlumbPros any time I have a plumbing concern--not too worry if something is too small. Very reassuring to have a company like this to call when things get messy!! JKR

Project: Install, Replace or Repair a Main Water Pipe- PlumbPros- Was quoted 1600.00, when the paperwork was done, Josh added 50 bucks more, and had no reason as for the increase. The lead plumber, Josh, backed up and ran over the mailbox, he said he would take care of it... Pipe was laid by others, and only 6 inches deep (code reads 12 inch), argued that it was deep enough, until I pulled out my ruler, they dug it deeper after getting caught. Josh tried to convince us that a 3 foot tall mailbox is ok.....Meanwhile, Wife went to get new post, and an hour later returns-Josh had no excuse but to install it...beating down the top when it would not fit, dents...Then he left in a hurry without checking the job. We contacted him and sent photos about finishing the meter/valve box... Now after asking for weeks to finish the meter box installation - our neighbors finished it for them! I would have, but I am handicapped. Of course, I haven't said anything about why the new pipe is now running in my garage to the water closet, instead of taking a little more time to do it right...that decreased my home value. After leaving messages...hearing """"I will be there""""...over and over... Never paid for the mailbox post- pipes in the garage, exposed pipe outside (which will freeze) I would never recommend this company.

Wow, I cannot speak to the company as a whole, but the Plummer we got this morning was grossly unprofessional. He was very rude and gave us a quote that ran hundreds higher than the competition. He simply did not seem interested in doing the work and explained what he would need to do as he turned his back to me and walked away toward his truck... wow lol. I would advise people to look elsewhere in the interest of time.

1. I was charged $400 to clean 3 drains in less than 30 minutes including the time for the estimate, 2 trips to the truck and conversation- with only 10-15 minutes for the actual drain cleaning. 2. After I agreed to the cost, and the work was done in a few minutes the technician Otis wanted to charge me $550 which I refused. He said he would take $50 off to make it $455 which is still more than I approved so I wrote my check for $400. 3. I called Mike at the office to share my story and ask for him to make an adjustment. All he did was talk about the shortage of plumbers in Atlanta and the high cost of plumbing tools to justify charging $400 for cleaning 3 drains in less than 30 minutes. I don't expect a full refund and I think that they should be paid for work, but not take advantage of women/single mothers who need every penny. We have non to spare. Michael, if you decide to come to your senses, I will sing your praises for being a business that listens to customer concerns and makes adjustments when necessary. Until then, I recommend you look for a more reputable and customer-centric plumber.

Charles from PlumbPros knew just what the problem was, and fixed it quickly, with a smile! His 20 years as a plumber (plus his dad was one) means he has seen it all and knows how to fix it all. We have an older home which can sometimes mean moused or jerry-rigged things pop up. That was the case with our stopped up kitchen drain. No problem for PlumbPro who we have used in the past, always with success and timely service. I tell everyone about them. You can trust them.
