Mike R.Terrible customer service. They canceled my appointment not once but twice. They did so despite knowing our problem was a water leak. Don't waste your time. Plumb Line will do that for you. I will never use them again.
Plumbline Services was called out to my elderly parents housed based on a $29.99 A/C inspection. During the call they sold them a $130 shower head that they didn't need and tried to charge them a $1,000 for questionable parts that they ""supposedly needed"" and even to sell them a new $4,000 air conditioner that they really didn't need. My sister showed up at our parents place in time and found that our parents were totally confused about what was going on. She said that if she wasn't there that they probably would have purchased the A/C unit that they didn't need because they were lead to believe that they needed it. There's no question in our minds that the Plumbline people were trying to take advantage of two elderly people who can't hear that well and whose elderly minds were easily confused. I cannot recommend this company to anyone based on their handling of the situation with our parents. The total bill to my parents for this horrible experience was $455.00.
Kristy D.I scheduled drain cleaning service 4 days ago. They called 45 minutes before my appointment which was the 1st one on their schedule for the day, to cancel because their schedule was to full. Their attitude was like ""oh well"". I will call a company that will come out.
Very disappointed. First appointment was in 3 days to fix plugged sink, then Plumbline cancelled the day it was to be fixed and didn't have another opening for 3 more days. Probably had more profitable job than honoring $93 ad for clearing a drain.
Garrett D.I really wanted to like Plumbline. I just needed a main sewer line to be cleaned and thought of their ""93 or it's free campaign."" We had just ran a camera down the line and it showed tree roots, so we wanted it cleaned. I called and scheduled an appointment for a week out (the soonest they could come). The canceled the appointment day of and rescheduled it for another week out. When they showed up for the 2nd appointment they told us that they didn't have the proper equipment to do the job and would have to send a specialist out a week later to run another camera down the line and ""educate"" us on our options.
I called to complain and see why that couldn't just do the job. Their ""consumer relations manager"" called me back to tell me that they needed to re-camera the line and make sure we knew all of our options. I told him we just wanted our line cleaned out a month ago, I don't understand why this is so difficult. He told me that it sounds like I should call another company because they don't need my business.
Okay, I understand and will call someone who does want to do the work we ask and isn't trying to up-sell and sign long service agreements.
Ultimately, they wanted to charge us for another camera job, charge us for extra service and sell us on a long term service agreement. The ""83 or it's free"" is just a bait and switch to get them in the door and scare you into additional services.
Usually I do like them, their response times and their techs. Prices are a bit high but ALL plumbers are!!!
DO NOT get this new product """"Aeroseal Duct Sealing"""" - it did not help reduce my heating bill; it did not help my 2 front rooms stay warmer; and actually still blows out a fine white mist like dust in my rooms (and I am 4 months removed from having the product installed thru my system)!
Once again, Plumbline came through , had a backed up toilet, the were set to be here between 12 and 2, they called and came early, the Tech Amon took care of the issue fast and was as usual very friendly and professional
I strongly recommend this company
Great job guys.
I had them install a new sewer line in October and had amazing customer service so I was planning to continue using them as a life long customer.
Then in December I had them install a new furnace and that's when I started experiencing the worst customer service. They didn't do enough prep before install day to realize they couldn't do some of the work as promised so the day of things were getting cancelled and they had to change plans multiple times. The only solution to updating my thermostat as promised was to drill holes through my hardwood floors and run wires along the wall...are you kidding me?!
Then they had to leave early and come back the next day to finish. The appointment was set for 2 and by 2:30 they finally called me to give me a ""courtesy call"" and let me know they couldn't be there until 5. I rescheduled with them for another day. The furnace failed inspection so I set up another appointment for them to come out and fix it. They were supposed to be here between 10 and 12. At 12 I called them as I hadn't heard anything and was told the person in charge of it was out to lunch and would call me back in a half hour. When she called back she said the techs were stuck at another job but I would be the next stop for them but probably not until 3. When I asked why they hadn't even called me to let me know they would be late, she said she wasn't really sure what happened and didn't even apologize. It finally was fixed and passed inspection. I emailed the representative who sold the furnace to me to let him know my disappointment and didn't receive a response for about 4 weeks. He finally responded saying he would let the customer service manager know and he would follow up with me. That was 3.5 weeks ago and I still haven't heard back.
I am one of their CAP members and they still have had the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I will never use them again!
Jason A.They were rude and the guy that came had no clue what he was talking about all he could do was talk about how this other plumbing company was in it for the money when in all that's what he was after the other company was pin point on and fixed the problem and even helped me get my money back
Jim C.If you need your problem fixed, don't bother calling these guys. They don't keep their appointments. When they've blown you off and re-scheduled for several days, they'll tell you that it's now the weekend, and you get to pay an extra $15 emergency fee.
Shame on me for thinking it was a fluke the first time, and giving them the benefit of the doubt. I should have gone to someone else the second time.
