Daniel B.We had Helen Graham out to our home to do our annual AC and Furnace check. She was on time, professional, and kind!
The week before our appointment, we found out that we had a MAJOR HVAC issue from when the house was built that caused a mold problem. When we showed Helen the issue, she jumped into action quickly on giving us an estimate and working with us to understand why the issue needed to be fixed ASAP.
I cannot emphasize this enough: the world needs more Helens. She helped our family out in a moment of panic and gave us a fix same day. She also helped us find some discount coupons and made things work for our budget.
Thanks Helen and Plumbline!
I had (will note renew) a VIP service agreement with them and waited 6 weeks for a maintenance check for the AC, only to have the cancel as they were overbooked. I do not believe VIP is worth anything as it is NOT the guarantee they claim it is.
We had our Sewer line replaced from the house to the street in June 2024. Very good service and the crew were very friendly and respectful while they worked all day on the job. Cleaned up the yard when they left. We were told they would return in 6 months to compact the dirt and finish strengthening the drain pipes, but haven't received a call back from them. We have called 3 times and have been told that they would give our name and number to the guy that needs to come and finish the job but we have never heard back from him. We paid a lot of money to have this job done and don't want to pay for someone else to come finish it, Plumbline Services owes us money back or needs to come finish the job that they started.
Neil M.Having used Plumbline in the past I was certainly not reluctant to call them again. This time with a heater problem. The technician, Kendrick Sipple, arrived early and was very professional getting right to the job of diagnosing the problem. The ignitor for the furnace had failed. Took about 2 - 3 minutes to figure that out and replace it. Overall I would certainly recommend Kendrick with a 5 star rating. The only issue I have, and why the rating isn't 5 stars overall is paying $309.00 for a $30.00 part, available thru several outlets online. Seems somewhat outrageous. It took maybe 3 minutes to install it so I know install cost couldn't be too much???
Prompt bid which was reasonable. Arrived at appt time to do the work, which was up to code and finished.
I had a plumbing emergency and found this company as they were near my home. They had a same day appointment and were offering a $93 special that I couldn't refuse. In the process of scheduling an appointment, the phone rep decided to tell me they do not service apartments/condos/townhomes/multi-story single-family homes. While I felt I wasn't given a clear explanation as to why they don't, this was something that should've been communicated from the get go. Instead of being told while making an appointment for someone looking to remedy their issue ASAP. This was extremely frustrating for me to hear. But luckily, I found another plumber nearby that offered a comparable special and got me on their schedule within a day.
They did our line under the basement floor, and we were pleased that they worked hard to avoid tearing out the basement bathroom floor which would have had to be completely retiled. However, the repairs to our floor were poorly done. We were left with high spots of concrete that could only be repaired by grinding down or removing excess concrete by tearing out the repair. Had it been done properly; we could have easily floated some leveler over their repair.
Then they did our line from the house to the street, leaving a pile of dirt that they said would s settle down over the next six months. They said they would come back and remove the excess dirt after that period. We called four times to have the dirt removed after the six-month period, and were totally ignored on the first three calls, the third call we were told they were short on staff. When I threatened to call Tom Martino on the fourth call, we got some action, and a comment (lie?) that they now recommended you wait a year do the dirt to settle. We live on a very nice block in good part of town and don't want our yard looking like a construction zone for a year. Anyway, they did show up and removed the excess dirt, but would not take an extra inch off so we could have it sodded. ""they don't do landscaping"" was the answer. Now we have to pay to have more dirt removed.
So, if you want to use them, be prepared to pay someone else to undo what they have done. And threatening to call Martino works!
Worst service experience I've ever had. Technician came late in his pristine uniform and complained about the utility room being dusty and a cobweb in the ceiling. Then he proceeded with a high pressure sales pitch for their service plan. Gave the furnace a cursory look. I could tell by his reaction to it's function that he knew there was a problem but he wouldn't do anything if I didn't buy the service plan. He left without doing the repair. Good riddance. (Another company did the repair quickly with service above and beyond the call of duty, and for less money than what Plumbline charged me for nothing.) DON'T CALL THEM.
Greg was awesome! Very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Very thorough presentation. Explained everything so I could understand my choices. Great company!
I'm a retired former Stationary Engineer And a senior. I went through Home Depot to get a hot water installed. Price $2604. PLUMBLINE tech shows up and takes a few pictures then heads up stairs to check my water pressure he tells me it's over a 100psi so you need a pressure reducer. I ask how much is that and he says it's $500. I just had a sprinkler guy tell me it was below 80psi. I told him to leave and I went and bought the same water pressure gauge at Home Depot. My reading was 81-91psi. Called PLUMBLINE to complain and they said a Manager will get back to you within a couple days. Unacceptable !!!! Do not use this company!!!
