Called Plumbline again today to check if my inspections would be scheduled for tomorrow - they had not scheduled them yet. I called the city myself to schedule them and suggest you do the same if you want to be sure your inspections are completed.

Had my folks' air conditioner and furnace that need replacement. This company scheduled the replacement service for both of these items within a very reasonable amount of time. They gave my parents options when I came to the size of the air conditioning and heating units that they want to replace. The people that came to install these two appliances for them were professional, prompt and courteous. They cleaned up well after the install, and went over the new high tech thermostat with my folks. After the installation, all parts of the HVAC system we're performing well, except there was some banging noise in the ductwork when the air conditioning unit shut down that they noticed. This started after their installation. When we called Christian and Angel out to service and look over the ductwork they did an extensive observation and diagnosis of the ducting. They strapped in bracketed multiple parts of the ductwork and did all of this without charge. They spent two hours fixing this issue and did not charge my parents a dime. Plumbline service has some loyal customers, that will be happy to vouch and give good reviews in the future. Thanks a lot for not taking a vantage of your customers, for providing a great service in general!

This company is a scam. They have a hot water heater special for $1199 on the website. I called to buy one, the guy came out and worked up a ""bid"" and wanted $2,000 for a water heater! Pretty offensive to falsely advertise and get in peoples homes and try and hustle them into a rip off. Please stay away from this company.

After being quoted a $50 service call fee, the technician announced it was actually a $150.00 diagnosis fee and ""the girls in the front office didn't know when they said it was $50 - it is actually $50 plus $150 to say what issue is then the fee to correct"". Felt like a stickup. The cost was almost $400 dollars for a 45 minute fix. Very deceptive business practices. JUST SAY NO!
PS - It is worth noting that a number of their positive reviews are from out of state or only a ""single post"" reviewer. Not the most reliable recommendations. BEWARE!

Today I had an appt for an A/C tech, an electrician, and a plumber. Received a call 20 min before appt time (all 3 were scheduled 9-11) and was told ""sorry, we have an apartment building to work on instead."" Say what? Obviously never using this company again.

Overpriced!!!!! I told the technician I thought the problem was a blower motor in the furnace. He flipped on the thermostat, said yes you're right. He quoted me a price of over $1,000 flat fee. So you get paid based on what you think I will pay and not how much time and materials are really need to do the job? I ended up paying $113 for 30 seconds of their time (and a useless trip), and wasting my morning. I was willing to throw that away because it would still be less expensive to find alternative service that was more cost effective. Ridiculous.

Rep. came to my house and I explained what I needed and he stated he could not do anything. He told me they could not replace the flue on the roof because that needed to be done by a roofer! Roofers put shingles on roofs, not flues! Then I needed some heat tape on a water line and he did not even look at it just said ""per code"" we can't do that, YET I had a licensed inspector say it can be done and that would be to code. Rep. was excessively lazy and clearly did not want to take the job. SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH ANOTHER COMPANY THAT CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUYER Beware!!! I used these guys because we moved into a house with a water softener and we liked the deluxe feature of this swamp cooler which drains itself daily and reduces mineral deposit build up. I received a few quotes, but went with Plumbline because I thought they knew what they were doing and offered this self draining swamp cooler. BIG mistake!! They turned on the swamp cooler and flakes of debris started flying out and they just continued to let it run. They said they could have replaced the old ducts, but didn't think to offer it...even though the old one was falling apart as they removed it. They left our wall ripped up and used a non matching outlet plate, so I had to go and buy a new one and paint the wall. After a month of install, our ceiling below the swamp cooler began leaking. We called immediately and had someone come out to take a look and instead of just telling me it was leaking because THEY didn't install the hose correctly, he had me go on the roof to show me. They had an outside contractor come over and fix the ceiling and repaint it and it took a week. If my husband and I didn't work from home at the time, we would have had to take a week of vacation time to let the worker in and out. Plumbline never asked if we worked from home or were inconvenienced in anyway. I also spoke to the manager and he said he would be sending us a gift card....still waiting for it!!!

In a day and age when it seems nobody cares I feel I was lucky to have found this great company. I was just home from major surgery when my AC quit working. Called my usual AC company and it would be a week before they could look at it. I already knew my furnace/AC was old so made a call to Plumbline for replacement and they sent a salesman the next day, which was a Saturday. They were there two days latter and replaced my whole HVAC system. Cannot say enough good about how smooth this whole process was. My surgery had kept me pretty immobile but that never effected the guys from Plumbline. A great crew installed my new furnace and AC. The service tech Austin is probably the best tech I've ever had, really knows his stuff. Yes Plumbline costs more than some other service companies but they are worth every penny. So glad I called them.

The electrician, Justin, is wonderful. We had a sparking outlet in our kitchen that lead us to replacing the entire fuse box and meter as well as a ton of other projects. He write out detailed options and fully addressed every little question we had. The work was done well and in a very timely fashion. We were nervous about how much the cost was but in the end we are confident that the work was done right and our house is safe. Justin's customer service was the thing that made us a lifetime customer.
