Had a foot of water in the basement on Friday. Water removal people referred me to these guys. A guy came out on Saturday and fixed the water pump, said they'd be out 1st thing Monday so no heat through the weekend. Monday 10 AM rolls around so I call and they don't have a clue. A guy finally comes Mon afternoon and gets the heat up. Wed morning the boiler fails so I call back around 10. They get back to me around 5 and make appointment for following morning. Then at 8 PM a lady calls and says that appt is no good so they're farming it out to some other company she doesn't name, and that if I want to wait for them to do it, it will be at least Friday or maybe the beginning of the week. I called somebody else. Their biggest problem seems to be communication but I certainly ended up feeling jerked around and not trusting them a bit.

Highly recommend!! After having an awful experience with a different plumbing company the previous day, Plumbing Today exceeded my expectations! Not only was I in need of a same day appointment, but I live in Hoosick Falls so not everyone will come out to my area. When I called in, the 2 people I spoke with were extremely helpful. I was told someone would be to my house in 1 hour. He was right on time! Kyle was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and explained everything to me. The work was done and so far I am 100% satisfied!!

After trying to chase down sewage odors around a bathroom/laundry area for several years, spending at least $1,000, all while using a very thorough and conscientious plumber, it came down to having to camera our lines. Plumbing Today is the only company in the region with the equipment to perform this type of residential work. The problem turned out to be extensive, with widespread cracks in our lines and thus costly, but they did not quit until it was fixed, returning several times with as many as 4/5 personnel, and did more work that bid or planned without increasing the cost. Had we not found them, we would have ended up having to take out walls, remove a slab floor, tiles and more. They did not quite nor leave us stranded. We only wish we had found them earlier, would have saved us time, money and aggravation. If you need specialized work this is the company to use.

As a heating professional who has had the ""pleasure"" of following this company to fix what the couldn't, I feel I would be remiss if I didn't share this experience. The customer called for a leak in a steam condensate return line. This company showed up and hit them for $1800! (With a $200 courtesy discount!) the repair applied was not only wrong, WAY over expensed, and it leaked a short time later. The customer was then told the additional repair would be an additional $1000! The invoice for the steam boiler repair quotes line items for a circulation hot water boiler NOT a steam system. The work quoted was totally inappropriate for the system. The quote also stated 23' of copper piping would be installed, instead it was 15' of PEX and some galvanized compression couplings. (They did use about 2 feet of copper to make the transition to PEX easier). They also totally missed the plugged steam control pigtail, and gauge class port clogged. The main boiler drain (they left it completely open) was so plugged full of sludge it wouldn't drain.
They charged this elderly couple $1800 for 3 hours labor and $100 worth of parts. I just redid the line in mailable iron (proper for steam systems) for 1/3 rd the cost. I will definitely be assisting this customer with a complaint through the NYS attorney General as this is clearly an attack on the elderly. Please find a reputable company and pass up on calling this one!

They came when they said they would. They did a good job. They charged what they quoted, even when the job turned out to be more difficult than expected. What more could one ask for. I would certainly use them again.

Workers were not professional. Workers were smoking on the job. Workers were digging with their hands and feet around septic tank. Offered shovel, it was refused. Workers mixed cement with their hands rather than use a hoe. Workers had to ask me for soap after working on septic tank. No hand sanitizer on truck. Holes were left in yard, no topsoil or reseed provided. Outrageous price for the actual materials and labor. Very disappointed.

Had a sewer pipe in a busy commercial building that was collapsing , plumbing today was able to install a liner in existing sewer pipe without shutting down business .

Thank you

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I hired them to fix a broken hot water heater and they diagnosed the problem and indicated I needed a new control panel. They also indicated for an additional ~$400 I could replace the entire hot water heater. They were ridiculously overpriced to begin with so I said just fix the current problem by replacing the part. They also told me the repair had a 6 month warranty. Less than 3 weeks later THE SAME EXACT problem happened. I called them back and they sent the same tech. To try to cover their ass and to avoid having to honor the warranty the tech said its now a different issue and now the estimate is an additional $1088.

They guy who came to do the work was professional and nice. He had to call for an estimate to replace a galvanized steel drain pipe that corroded and was leaking water. It was replaced with pvc pipes. And 2 shark bites to stop an old leaking faucet in the basement. The quote was outrageous. I did not call others but it wasn't even the whole pipe . Only a piece of it $699total job 800 ! Too expensive!

Matt the main person who runs this company, is not trustworthy. He sends his technicians to give out incorrect estimates, once you agree and the work begins, then they change the numbers stating that the catalog that the technician had was outdated almost 4 years old. So yes at first they seem reasonable with their prices until they are half a way in the job, then everything changes. Furthermore, whatever inspection they perform, they refuse to disclose the results in writting. To tap it out, multiple technicians need to come to complete one project which becomes confusing since each one of them has to catch up with what needs to be done. As of pumping out your septic tank, they don't do that and neither they mention anything until the end of the appointment that they have to go through a third party and make an appointment based on that company's availability. I will never hire them neither recommend them to anyone. Very unprofessional.
