Plumbing the Bay saved the day when I came home to a leaking hot water heater! They were able to stop the leak right away to prevent further damage. Then when I decided to replace my water heater, they were able to do that quickly and professionally as well. Great customer service is hard to find these days at any price and their price was hard to beat!

We received excellent service from Joseph & team from ""Plumbing by the Bay."" We discovered that we had leaks in the original piping under our house- and that the entire system of pipes needed to replaced. Yikes- it was a major (and unexpected) project indeed. Within 24 hours of my call, Joseph came to visit - and provided a clear estimate for the scope of work. I sensed he was reliable, knowledgeable, and that I was in good hands. During a hectic time, he sent a team of 3 to our house within a few days. They completed the major undertaking within the short timeframe he promised. Just in time for my birthday! The team members were polite, efficient and respectful. Our pipes now seem to be working fine. I was grateful for their service- and would definitely recommend ""Plumbing by the Bay"" to others...

Last June the water heater of our 14-unit building decided to die in a spectacular way, with a catastrophic failure that prevented all of us residents from taking a hot shower for at least one day. Our management company luckily sent us Joseph and team. They came, took measurements, pledged to give us a quote within the day, and replace the heater the following morning. Everything went as planned, if not even better: the new heater was flawlessly installed ahead of schedule, with minimal disruption for everyone, and virtually no need for any supervision by us. What at first seemed a difficult hurdle to overcome, also in consideration of the Shelter-in-Place order, turned out as an easy task to accomplish, thanks to the professionalism of these plumbers. Very grateful to have good quality service when mostly needed!

I really appreciate Joseph Filmus from Plumbing the Bay - we were having low water pressure in our shower, and he was the only one of several plumbers we called who took apart our showerhead and inspected our water heater to find the root problem of calcification and sediment.

He warned us at the time that we'd need to take care of this issue - and helped us recommend a good water heater. While this heater was on order, our existing water heater actually burst at 7am on a Saturday and sputtered to its demise. Joseph sent his team out right away within an hour, and worked round the clock to get us the model that we had on order (returning the one that was on the way) and had his team come and install it by Monday. Our water heater is on the 3rd floor rooftop, and the Plumbing the Bay team carried huge water heaters up and down three flights of stairs - a daunting task - but got the job done. They even trained us on how to do regular sediment flush-outs to help us save money on future plumbing calls.

I had a leak in the basement but the source of the leak was unknown. I had a plumber come out and he said that the leak was n the drain line inside the walls. He had know way to tell the location of the leak. He suggested that we get an electronic leak detection which looks for moisture on walls. I was than referred to Joseph at Plumbing the Bay. Joseph said that they use camera to look for leak. The camera is lowered from toilet hole and is able to look at the drain line. This is similar to the doctors looing inside the body. The plumber identified the source of the leak. They had to tear down some walls and replace pipes. Plumbing the Bay plumbers did a great job. They were polite and respectful. Later Joseph sent a painter to patch and paint the walls. The painter also did a great job. I highly recommend Plumbing the Bay for all your olumbing needs
