These guys are the best. Had some major plumbing problems right after we bought our home. They came out on a Saturday and rescued us. Ever since then, they are my go to guys. Had a problem with a water drip on our guest shower today. Called this morning and Bobbie squeezes us in. All fixed. I would highly recommend them to everyone!!!

i hired plumbing strategies to do several small fix it issues replace toilet flaps, leaking bathroom sink fixture and leak under kitchen sink due to dishwasher . 4 visits later and 1 no show i was charged over 700.00. Every visit he only fixed 1 issue i disputed the charges and received a rude Email from Heather. This company is so unprofessional. I didn't even receive a phone call for the no show. i'm not sure how plumbing strategies can even be in business. Big Big mistake if you ever hire them .

Extremely rude lady manager Heather. I admit I was slightly upset when I called to question the charges in our condo - $890 for a garbage disposal replacement (Pro333, PVC waste kit, Kohler basket strainer, PVC pipes. 2 hrs labor). This was not an emergency call and unfortunately it was arranged by our property manager w/o our knowledge. The lady told me: ""of course, there is a markup on our parts and if you do not like it you should have used your own parts. When I questioned their plumber competency, taking 2 hours to do this, and was going to ask whether it maybe included travel? she hung up. I hope we do not ever have to use them again. I know Island living is not cheap, but i thought this was way too much.

At my first call, asking for information, Cherise Larson was very helpful and friendly, without being pushy. She offered me the first available time slot, which was the following business day. I had never used their services before, but they came very highly recommended from the Head of Maintenance in our development so the next time I need a plumber, they will be the one I call! I needed to find a way to reduce the pressure of the irrigation/pool line that was coming in at 125-140 psi. Our pool float valve, that was rated at 0-100 psi, was leaking from its seams, being unable to handle that much pressure. I called DWS to have them investigate it but got nowhere. Cherise offered to send Alex to give me a free estimate but as soon as he came and saw the pressure at 140 psi, he went ahead and installed a pressure regulator before any more time had passed and more damage happened. I couldn't be happier, and knowing I have a plumber like this available to me in the future is very comforting. I would absolutely recommend PSI to anyone.

Seriously overcharges on parts! A part they charged me $45 for can be found for $7 at Lowes. The guy that came out was nice and seemed competent, but the outrageous mark-up on parts is just wrong. If you can, get as many of the parts you will need elsewhere, before they come out to do the work.

Unfortunately there just aren't enough plumbing companies in Kona, so if you can even get them to return your calls, the companies are arrogant and unreliable. I used PSI a few years ago to switch out 2 tub faucets for a single one. It was hard to get them to commit to a time but finally $750 later I had my new faucet. Recently I tried to hire them again to trouble-shoot a leak from my shower and they scheduled me in, but on the day they were supposed to turn up they suddenly cancelled saying they didn't think this was something they could resolve, without even taking a look at the problem. They did however recommend a tile guy to replace my shower pan. There's a reason they have a lot of 1-star reviews.

I asked for an estimate, they blew me off and refused to even give me one. Don't bother contacting these guys.

These guys came out on Sunday due to an urgent situation, they showed up when they said. They found out quite quickly what was wrong, found out it wasn't our condo's ""fault"" Stopped the issue quite quickly, and then said even though we called it wasn't our fault, they didn't charge us. These guys are awesome. Hire them to do whatever you need, we already decided that when this issue is over, we will have them do improvements to our condo.

I called so many plumbing companies before I lucked out with PSI! I started calling plumbers yesterday to do a very simple job, replace a kitchen faucet. The ring around my shower arm where it meets the wall was rusted and I wanted that replaced. Ordinarily, this is a job I would do myself but then I thought, hey, I'm on vacation and I should hire it done. I should not have to crawl under a sink, right? Finally I turned to Yelp. I don't always trust reviews on Yelp and some people can be really mean and nasty just out of spite. Of the 3 tops plumbing companies, only Ryan at Plumbing Solutions, Inc. answered his phone. I left messages at 7:30 AM for the other two companies, and it is now almost 5:30 PM and nobody called me. When I spoke to Ryan, he said he would send a plumber tomorrow. But, then, later on he called to say a plumber was available right now. Great. PSI knows its stuff. Turns out my shut-off valve for the hot water would not turn off. So the plumber had to turn off all the knobs on my solar-powered water heater, which I would not have known how to do. I am soooo glad I called a professional. PSI replaced my shut-off valve, installed my faucet, and because I went from a cover over 3 holes to a one-hole faucet, he also was able to clean all the gunk off my white cast iron sink and made it all sparkly! Of course he caulked it without me having to ask him to do it. He was in and out in about 30 minutes, and the whole job was only $196. This is a great plumber. If I were you, I would not call any other plumbing company than PSI. Definitely 5 stars.

So great to get a call back right away! We needed same day service and they delivered - even with a long holiday weekend coming up. They kept us posted on when the plumber would be able to get to us so we weren't agonizing over it. Tony, Ryan and Eric are my heroes today!
