We had a pipe burst in our wall and being a first time home owner, I had no idea where to even start. I called one company but they were booked up way out. I asked if they'd recommend any one and they suggested I called these guys. BEST CALL EVER! They came over in a day and started working immediately and even guided me on the best options. Never once did I feel I was being taken advantage of. The plumber, Larry, was really amazing and through and explained everything in detail. I was out of town and he was helping us from afar. Larry was really great and worked hard on our issue. He communicated very well and even told me if he continued that day it would go into overtime and cost me more. He gave me the option to have him continue or to come back on Monday. He came back and finished the job with a helper who's name I ever got, but they both did a great job! It was fast and well done and even came in costing less than we had thought! It's been a looooong time since I worked with any company that had this level of communication and customer service. As a first time home owner and this being our first major repair, I don't think I could have found anyone that would have treated us better or helped us so patiently! Larry is a big asset to this company. I highly recommend PSI to anyone!!! Even from the office staff... Heather I believe her name was... just amazing and helpful! My mahalos to everyone here

I was very happy with this company from the first time I talked with Heather on the phone to the work of the 3 guys that installed my new hot water heater (and removed some broken panels from my roof). They were on time, pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. Couldn't be happier.

Our main water line failed at Na Hale O'Keauhou, PSI plumbing to the rescue! Ross and Gunner arrived on-time, assessed the problem, had every tool and part on the service vehicle and repaired the problem fast and efficiently, in a polite, professional manner. As I watched them work, it was clear that they knew exactly how to proceed and were very precise and experienced in their profession. If I could give zero stars I would. They charged over $600 to install a small on demand tankless water heater in the kitchen cabinet. They also replaced a tiny amount of pipe at there discretion. So very tiny job - 3 - 5lb square that fits in a kitchen cabinet. Very disappointed in the cost. Billed at 3 hours - including the water heater that we paid for to be picked up from Home Depot - billed at same rate as install labor rate!!! $2 in gas at the most. No courtesy! We paid $280 for the water heater on top of the over $600 in charges from psi. Also, requested an estimate before this job and it took four days for them to shoot off an email on a simple u trap clog estimate. Roto rooter gave the estimate immediately without having to come on site. I guess PSI strategy is to increase bills so simple requests are calculated to be more complicated. Even a courtesy run to pickup a water heater. To me a strategy involves building relationships where you conduct business in a trustworthy way - treating people as humans and not numbers...being responsive, honest and helpful....and definitely not in a way of oh! everyone is off island anyway .... Bank robbers!

Will NEVER use again!!! I have used them in the past and was satisfied with my experience. The workers are nice but the office manager/owners wife HEATHER is a raging bitch. She is impossible to deal with and is extreme rude. She should not be allowed to deal with customers! I am sure they are loosing business because of her. Heather lies, threatens you, and just wants your credit card number. Do yourself a favor, save yourself from the stress and high blood pressure... CALL SOMEONE ELSE!

Call someone else! Extremely rude lady office manager that even the workers have a hard time dealing with I am told. She is just a very unhappy person. Too bad, they have had some good plumbers in the past.

I have no issue with the repair or the plumber that did the work. However, the office manager refused to give me any information on their minimum charges or any numbers to ascertain cost. What they do is take your credit card prior to sending out the plumber and then you get a whopping bill/invoice that's already been charged on your card before you even see it, a day or so later which is a complete surprise. Their website ""claims"" they do service calls at no charge - this is totally bogus information. When I challenged my bill and lack of accuracy about what I was told, I just got more made up rhetoric. Office manager tried to back track and insist that the service call is only to do estimates for new construction sites - clearly, my inquiry for repairing a toilet had nothing to do with new construction. She was all over the map with making excuses. I could have had this same work done for about half of what I was charged. BE WARNED!

Quinn from PSI was just great. He figured out the problem and got it fixed very quickly and efficiently. Plus, he was so personable. Definitely aloha.

Extremely expensive! I had them do a job that they said was going to take 2 weeks. And charged me a ridiculously high price thinking it was going to take that long. I got totally screwed because it was only a 3 day job, which doing the math I paid $650 per hour. Heather is extremely rude and unforgiving. Be very careful signing any kind of contact with these people. Also, I needed cement poured and Ryan, the excavator for plumbing strategies, quoted me $5000. I had another company do the same job for only $975. They actually laughed out loud when I told them Ryan wanted to charge $5000. Absolutely ridiculous robbery, especially during such hard times right now. Shame on them I can't believe they are still in business.
