Called Greg for a quote on a locked up sewer pipe & he incessantly cut me off for almost two hours. Unhelpful & disingenuous, do not give this ""man"" business
We had an ""atmospheric river"" deliver 18 hours of heavy rain. Sadly, the sump pump in my basement gave up the ghost right then, resulting in basement flooding. I called this company for assistance and Greg came over within an hour. There was so much water under the basement slab that the new sump pump couldn't easily be installed. Greg left his own pump there for the the next six hours to drain more water. He also identified that the second sump pump on the opposite side of the house wasn't working. He then replaced both to finish the job. Not only did this take upwards of 12 hours to complete the work, but he informed me every step of the way so I knew what to expect - excellent communicator. Also, a very reasonable price. Easily the best plumber I have ever worked with. Direct your business here for a good outcome!
Jaime R.I would highly recommend this company. Greg was very knowledgeable and managed to come up with a solution to a tricky basement drain issue I had. Very trustworthy and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be using them in the future.
Patricia G.I had a leaking toilet and needed to hire a plumber. So it was only natural I would turn to you guys, my fellow Yelpers for a recommendation in my area. I selected Plumbing Solutions due to the 5star, stellar reviews...and glad I did. I called to make an appt and spoke to the owner Greg. I told him the issue and he asked me to text him pics of the Jon & where it's leaking. After he reviewed the pics, he gave me a very thorough explanation of the problem. Now I for one do not speak toilet, but he managed to do it in a way I understood. He was so polite, articulate and smart. I wasn't sure how I wanted to proceed (I had a couple options) He was more then happy to explain it all over again to my husband. On the day of appt he was right on time, and went right to work. When he was finished, he showed me the what/where it was broken and the why/how he fixed it. He's a very interesting guy. And a Christian like me. Definitely give him a call if you're in the market for a trustworthy plumber.
Had a plumbing leak at a valve and contacted Greg who came out later that day to size it up then came back the next morning and fixed it without issue. Would recommend and will use again. Also had him do a hot water heater replacement last year which was also a smooth and seamless operation, fair pricing and no surprises or issues.
Greg is knowledgeable, detail oriented, and committed to getting the job done right. He doesn't take short cuts.
I highly recommend Greg for your plumbing needs!
If there was a ""minus"" rating, that's what this rating would be. We had a leak at the back outdoor faucet which should have been an easy repair. This guy had to go into the basement to access the point of repair. My family was busy with a backyard event so I let him in, trusting he would do what he came to do. I'd forgotten about it, then after about 2 hours had passed I realized he was still down there. I thought something was seriously wrong so I went to see. He did not hear me enter the room - I found he was chatting on the telephone with a friend, and not working at all, just standing there on the phone. I thought I'd be courteous and not say anything - assuming it was a just a quick call he received/made that would end quickly, so I decided to come back. About 20 minutes later I returned. He was still on the phone, not doing anything, continuing to just chat away. I finally caught his attention and he awkwardly, said he had to go to the person he was speaking with. He still charged me for his time but credited $57 of supplies which probably didn't even use or need to use - I mean, it was a simple repair. His bill was $180 for 3 hours. I should have argued with him and paid only 1 hour but I had company and didn't want to engage him at that time. I would not trust him again.
Greg was helping with putting in a new bathroom. He came timely and even came back for a followup when the hot water wasn't as hot as we needed it to be. Pricing was setup in advance and he did not waiver from that. We would continue to use him again and again. Thanks the Taggarts
I would never recommend Greg from Plumbing Solutions to even my worst enemy. We recently moved into a home that uses propane gas. When our propane company said they would not be able to convert our appliances from natural gas to liquid propane until after the holidays, they recommended calling a plumber. We reached out to Greg, who we had used in the past, who stated ""any certified plumber can convert natural gas to lp!"" We thought ""Great""! When he came out to convert our stove, he told us that Lowes had not provided all the pieces we needed to convert. We contacted Lowes who swore that all the pieces were there and he should be able to convert the stove. We then called Whirlpool, the appliance manufacturer, and had them ship us the pieces we would need for $200. With the parts in hand, I called Greg to ensure we had all the pieces necessary. He proceeded to tell us we still did not have all what we needed and that we needed a special tool only from Whirlpool. I called Whirlpool again and they told me that is untrue and he should be able to convert it. I contacted Greg again and he said he would come out again. When Greg arrived, he asked us for a wrench because he did not have one. I thought that was weird, since he was a plumber, but I supplied the wrench anyway. He set to work for three hours working on the stove. When he finished, we paid the bill and we thought everything was good. A week later, the propane company came out to do a safety check, only to find that Greg never regulated the propane, never reset the flames on the stove and NEVER converted the oven. Fortunately the propane company correctly converted our appliance after Greg REFUSED to finish the job he started.
Didn't hire him for service because he wanted to charge me to come out and give a quote on replacing fixtures. That is very odd and unusual.
