This was the first place I called to get a quote. I was initially interested in getting a quote to run a gas line so that I could change my electric range to a gas one. The guy who came to quote me was great! Or at least I thought so. Super friendly and informative. So informative that he also ended up quoting me for gas heater replacement because as he was walking through my home had noticed that it was starting to rust in some areas. He explored more and realized that the water heater I had was the original that came with the house at 18 years old. He told me that water heaters usually only last 15 years and that I would probably be needing to replace this soon! He said with winter coming up that I will be running the heater more and that is when there is a tendency for one so old to blow. I was very appreciative of this information! I will definitely want to be prepared for that as I will need heat through the winter! He also informed me that the calcium build up I was having in my dishwasher and on my ice dispenser tray on my fridge as well as the kitchen sink faucet was due to calcium build up from Idaho's tap water running through all of it. So now I was also getting a quote for a water filtration and softener system. Again, all great information I absolutely appreciated!

I was absolutely shocked at the quotes that were provided! I got another company in to do the same quotes and low and behold PLUMBING SOLUTION OF IDAHO quoted me nearly 3x as much as the other company.

I do want to mention one difference while I was getting quotes between the two companies! When Plumbing Solutions of Idaho came to quote me I was by myself. When I had the other company come my male friend visiting from out of town who works in maintenance and does HVAC was here! Not sure if this is truly what Plumbing Solution of Idaho charges or if it was because the person who came to quote me thought they could take advantage of me as a single female? Maybe he assumed I would not do my research? Maybe he assumed I did not have friends who are familiar with this type of work? Maybe he assumed I was vulnerable, moving to a new town, not knowing anyone? Maybe he assumed I was rich? I have no idea but definitely some consistencies here with other reviews regarding price gouging! I would do my research before hiring this company. I hope this review helps another innocent, honest soul who is just looking for some honest solutions for their homes that they paid hard earned money for. Times are so tough as it is it is so sad that we have to deal with dishonest businesses that take advantage of hardworking people.

Fast, reliable, professional. We had an after hours emergency and after calling a few other places who didn't want to be bothered, we called here. They were there in half an hour. They fixed our problem and we're fair and courteous. I would not go anywhere else now

Buyer beware . Extremely overpriced. We had a small leak under a sink and they charged us $306.00 for a $2.48 o-ring that took them 5 minutes to replace. They are taking advantage of their customers and grossly over charging. The original estimate included several parts they never replaced, never needed or used at all. Will not use again.

I recently used Plumbing Solutions to replace a leaky sink faucet. The technicians were very nice and did a great job. The reason I am only giving three stars is because of the price point of $695 to replace a faucet. Labor took maybe an hour. The cost faucet cost $200 I was told, however the invoice does not indicate what portion was material and what was labor. Another reason for the three star rating.

Asked for an estimate last year and was shocked at the cost. Plumbing Solutions of Idaho were higher than three other companies. We found a couple of plumbing contractors who were more than reasonable and the one hired we would recommend.

I found Plumbing solutions through NextDoor. They were able to schedule me the same day and that was a great relief since I am worried about water damage to my house. They sent Gary, he did a great job. I have a new hose bib and no leaks.

Late to the job. Didn't write the estimate for what we asked. Had outrageously high prices. Partially completed the agreed work & would not come back to finish unless we would give them additional money (we finished their work). I am a general contractor and I personally do this kind of work myself with my own hands so I know what it takes. I try to be fair with everyone. I don't want anybody to get burned and taken advantage of. So I'm posting this review
