Brett Nelson has done a number of big jobs for me, and each one has been well executed. He replaced a gas water heater with an electric, which required getting rid of the venting.

He connected my yard hydrants to the PUD water after the well pump failed and the well installer would not repair it. This turned out to be a good thing, as the PUD water is reliable and I got rid of an unsightly tank and pump in the laundry room that took up a lot of space.

He replaced all the failing yard hydrants as well, and got a spigot off the main house that was apparently disconnected before to work.

Perhaps the most challenging and risky job was to replace an undermount kitchen sink, because there is always a chance the granite top will crack or break. The old sink was divided, which I hate, and was improperly sealed. The new sink fits perfectly and now I can fit my largest cast iron pots and baking pans and a very large breadboard. The new faucet is also fabulous, with an articulating arm. Before and after photos attached.

I can't recommend Brett enough. His work ethic and skill is the best I've seen around here. Plus he looks like McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy. ;-)

He methodically tacked the problem, isolating and fixing them, without new parts and a hole in the wall that another plumber said were needed. Brett Nelson (dba Plumbing Repair Service) is awesome.

We have a house near Port Townsend which I inherited from my parents. My father was not easy to please so when I saw several receipts from PRS in his files I figured that Brett must be good. I have continued to use him for plumbing work on this house and yes, he is. In addition to doing good work, Brett is extremely easy to work with. He listens to what you want done and respects your budget. His truck is well-stocked; he didn't have to order anything when making repairs to the oddball plumbing in this house.

He is also dependable. A few years ago someone drove into an outdoors faucet uphill from this house and broke the pipe, creating a new water feature in the front yard. It was bad enough that the water system folks noticed it and notified me. I was in Seattle and couldn't head to Port Townsend immediately but was able to hand the problem off to Brett. Knowing that things would be handled, and handled well, took a huge load off my mind.

In addition to doing good work, Brett writes very detailed work invoices. These come in really handy five years down the road.
