Found this company through yelp, using their send companies a message about your problem, and some will reply with price quotes on the fix. They were very quick to respond. They have very competitive pricing for SF plumbers. Albert came the next day because I needed help with my kitchen sink that wouldn't drain. He was very respectful (noticed my shoes by the front door and would constantly take his off when coming into my kitchen)! And you could tell he was very knowledgeable about my clog issue. It turned into a bigger issue which resulted in a higher cost estimate because he had to use a second machine. The second machine only temporarily/partially fixed an even bigger problem, so he only charged me for the original quote I had received.

I ended up needing some pipes replaced because mine are very old, and some roof sealant had gotten into my pipes from a recent roofing job. Since the pipes were old and some had harsh angles, the usual snake wouldn't unclog them. Once we received an estimate for the pipe replacement, we decided to move forward because it was very reasonable. Albert came back with a second guy whose name I didn't catch, but both of them were very friendly and helped replace my pipes and tested my kitchen sink to make sure it was draining properly and checked for weak points also. As a bonus, Albert even went to check on my upstairs neighbor who had a toilet flushing issue, and instead of giving us an estimate to fix, he just did a quick valve and water level check which fixed the problem.

Alexi who I believe is the boss is also helpful, quick to reply, and let me know when Albert had been running late on one of his trips to my house. Very helpful for planning my day.

I recommend these guys if you have plumbing issues!

Albert came to take a look at a dripping bathtub faucet and, despite the age of the plumbing fixture, immediately diagnosed the issue and knew exactly how to fix it. Very courteous and fixed the problem efficiently and frankly at a lower cost than what other companies quoted. After finishing the repair requested, also offered to fix another issue with the toilet that he noticed but was not pushy about it. I went ahead and had him fix that as well. Will definitely use them again for any plumbing issues!

I've hired Plumbing Pure for a few jobs now, and they've impressed me each time. The first time, they replaced my garbage disposal, and the second, they fixed my shower's water pressure issue. Both jobs were done with exceptional care and efficiency.

For the shower, I had previously received multiple quotes, all quite expensive and given without anyone thoroughly inspecting the problem. Albert, however, took the time to assess the situation properly and resolved it in under an hour for less than a quarter of the price quoted by others.

I reached out on a Sunday for help with a clogged drain. I really appreciated their transparent pricing - they gave me a flat quote, and held to it. It was reassuring, compared to other companies that wouldn't even give me an estimate without coming over.

We had a plumbing emergency (broken pipe) three days before Christmas toward the end of the work day. Needless to say, it was not easy to get a plumber to come. Tom from Plumbing Pure was able to show up in less than 45 minutes, diagnosed the problem, and worked late into the evening to get it resolved. He had to break into our ceiling to locate the faulty pipe but did as little damage as possible, and stayed late to clean up. Alix also showed up to help us check all the faucets and ensure that our water was running properly. Highly recommend.

Once again, we needed Team Plumbing Pure! And once again, Albert arrived as scheduled and promptly fixed a few things. The price feels fair and reasonable to us each time. Albert has been here a couple, few times and he does a stellar job. Albert is kind, courteous, professional and a warm human being. He is very experienced and the precision of his work is beautiful. Last time he was here, he wanted to see the final result of some work he did prior to us installing some new cabinets. His work fit like a glove. Beautiful work!
I believe that the one star rating listed here in Yelp is unfair and doesn't truly reflect the kind of company Plumbing Pure is. They stated up front that they don't do that kind of work. They aren't the type of company to do ""any"" job just to make a buck. To me, that wouldn't be right. To me, their response was a good sign of a well run business. They take pride in their work, how they relate to people and how to best serve the number of people clambering for their skills. I had that happen to me once, person didn't do that kind of work.... I was glad to be told and didn't think anything wrong with letting me know that. Everyone's different.
Bottom line, Plumbing Pure is our plumber, no matter who on the team shows up to do the work, they do a great job! We have and will continue to recommend them to our friends and neighbors.
