I had a water emergency, broken water pipe with substantial water leak. I called two local plumbers that were recommended on NextDoor. After explaining the emergency, one plumber said they would come out in a week and the second business said they could come out in a month! They offered no help and only said they had other customers.

I found Plumbing Pros on Yelp. If I could I would give Plumbing Pros 10 stars! After explaining the emergency, James P, owner came out to the house within 2 hours. He provided options and was absolutely concerned with getting the broken pipe fixed.

His crew came out and replaced/fixed everything in one day! Great quality work and good pricing!

James P, owner, was super responsive and answered all our calls and text messages. James even answered our messages left in the evening and on a Sunday! Not only is he an absolute professional he is also a great guy!

Oh my GOSH JAMES IS THE BEST! I searched for someone to come out with many being too busy to fix our hot water heater. He was here between other jobs, made sure we were up and running. HE IS AWESOME! Used him a couple of times, responsive and gets stuff done. Parts seem pretty much at cost (so you aren't getting charged $110 for a $25 dollar supply line for example) , no weird travel time fees or tool rental fees. Labor is $195 an hour as of right now. If you are at my age that may seem super expensive vs 'back in the day' but basically everyone is up at that range, cost of living and inflation around here just go up and up so people have to charge enough to live here. Anyway happy with the various work we have had done. Recommended.

James has been a great pleasure to work with over the years. On larger projects, big or small they always get it done, recently we had issues with our water heater, no hot water for the past two days but having James come thru, it was no problem and repaired! James was amazing, knew what he was doing, did a great job, and was out the day after I called. He was quick, got the issue resolved and what a great personality. Very pleasant, knowledgeable, provided additional recommendations to prevent the Equake gas shut off valve from getting knocked, and really knew his business. Additionally, when he was delayed for an emergency call, he texted and kept me appraised of the delay and new timeline. Very prompt, and responsive. If I ever need a plumber again, James is my guy! His prices are fair, and he's a standup guy. Save yourself frustration and give him a call!

Well, it happened again - a backed-up line and at night, of course. This problem had been occurring more frequently over the last year, and usually, we could access the pipe through a bathroom and use a small rooter we bought to clear it but this time to no effect. After an hour of trying, we decided to call in a professional. We used Yelp to search for ""24-hour"" plumbers, only to have a few say ""Sorry, not tonight!"" It was about 10 pm, and not that late, so we kept trying. We finally got ahold of a company that said, ""Sure!"" The owner, James, asked a few questions and said he could clear for a reasonable fee, based on what we had paid in past for other late-night calls from ""national"" chains. He arrived within an hour and set to work. He did clear it enough to run the water through but found an obstruction that wasn't giving. He used an optical scope to see what was up and found an obstruction. Because the house did not have a clean-out in front, he offered to come back in a few days and dig up the pipe to clear the obstruction and install a 2-way cleanout. His quote for this was also reasonable, $500 below the estimate from a ""national"" chain. We agreed he would return, and we went o bed happy to have a working toilet and shower in the morning! Great and professional service, friendly to work with, and went above with the scoping that night. Thanks, James!

James came out on Super Bowl Sunday to help fix my gas line, while many Plummer punted. On top of fixing it James identified the gas meter will leak once he is done, so he was proactive and called pg&e to come out. He finished before the game started. Kudos to plumbing pros!
