Worst "service" company ever. Took money from me and failed to complete the warranty contract job.

It was my first and last time I'll use this company services. Not my first choice nor my choice at all. I used this service provider via home warranty coverage.
I needed my water heater replaced. Mostly, what I received was disrespect and aggravation.
I waited an extensive amount of time for the service to be completed. The contractor made me spend out of pocket expenses unnecessarily claiming I needed modifications. That was misleading and nothing more than a scam for making more money.
If I were you I'd choose a different contractor, one that's reputable and honest rather than this conceded scam artist.
One more thing, the plumber didn't finish the job. He left my water heater disconnected from the electricity on a Friday afternoon. All because he didn't want to use a foot of electrical wire from his truck stock or get any from the nearest Home Depot. I came home after work and had to finish the job myself. Otherwise, if I wasn't a handyman, myself, I would have been out of hot water all weekend and or until my home warranty provider could schedule services to be completed.
It was one of my worst experiences. As they say if the job can't be done right, do it yourself.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this contractor, period.

They no showed to my appt after I took the day off to be here from 10-3 pm. They called and said they would come by if they had time if not I'd have to reschedule as they got tied up on another job. The plumber names Todd was really rude on the phone and told me I was not his boss and that I don't control his schedule when I told him they needed to make it happen today as I have been waiting for them. No understanding or apology for the inconvenience. Just an, "it is what it is attitude". Definitiely do not recommend.

Truly the worst experience. Contracted with American Home Shield and they sent Todd the owner out from Plumbing Pro Services. He is belligerent and constantly informs the customer that he is a "master plumber" and has a threatening and frightening personality.

If there was a 0 rating, I would use it. I was an American Home Shield customer and Todd was assigned to replace or repair my water heater. I took pictures and sent to him before he came on sight. When he arrived on site, he announced himself to be a "Master Plumber", had an arrogent attitude. He looked at my problem and said it needed to be replaced. He came several days later with a water heater that would not fit the cabinet where my water heater is. When challenged on this, he lost his temper and told me he was leaving. He came in to get his bag of tools and got in his truck. He had begun the replacement but did not secure what he had already done and he left. An hour or so later, I went into my bathroom to find it flooded and the closet with the water heater also. He had removed a valve and the water was turned on by him and left unsecured. Worst senerio ever!!! I barred him from returning to my property even though AHS would have sent him back. Neither Todd nor AHS made any attempt to take care of secondary damage done to my home. I recommend that you not use this plumber ever!!

If there was "Zero" star, that's what this company deserved. I had contacted American Home Shield on Tuesday, 1/16/24 due to a bathtub faucet leak. Todd from Plumbing Pro Services came to check on Wednesday, 1/17/24. When Todd showed up,(he had this demeanor of being cocky and arrogant). I directed him to where the leak was and the first thing he said was, you're going to have to have the tiles removed and cut open the sink cabinet because the faucets were close to the cabinet and his tools will need to have access.

I hesitated and after talking to Todd more if there were any other way, he said, that's the only way possible to ensure there's no leaks underneath the tub. Hmm. We then headed outside to where the water meter/valve was and showed me how to shut it off and then he called AHS.

It was easy money for this guy. I paid $100 to AHS for his consultation that lasted 10 mins. After talking to Todd more, he wanted $650 to fix it, and started being rude and obnoxious. Todd kept saying, I'm a Master Plumber and have been doing this for years. There were times Todd was even laughing, smiling and didn't show any sympathy at all.

Todd was the worst person I've ever dealt with. He lacks professionalism and compassion. Todd just didn't care at all. I can't believe AHS would hire someone like this guy. I'll be canceling my service with AHS for contracting these types of people. If you read the reviews online for 'Plumbing Pro Services in New Braunfels, TX, you'll understand what type of person Todd is. Pathetic! Beware of this company, he just wants your money.

I ended up calling another plumber and NOT use AHS. The plumber replaced the 'cartridge and the cartridge nut' and fixed the leak problem without removing any tiles and cutting a hole in the sink cabinet.

They were contracted through American Home Shield for a slowly draining bath tub. To their credit they were very prompt and easy to schedule. When they arrived they ran a snake down my drain, said they couldn't fix the problem and that what was wrong wasn't covered by AHS. They were in and out in less than a half hour and actually made my clog worse.

A couple days later I got a text asking to rate their Service. I have them 0/5. Todd then called me and spent 5 minutes yelling at me for not respecting his 20 years experience as a master plumber.

Worst customer experience I've ever had. Avoid at all costs!

If a negative star existed I would give negative stars...our home warranty lined these guys up for our service request. 3 days later, multiple unanswered calls later they answered and informed me they thought I had already been taken care of. They then set an appt for the next day with a 4 hour window. Appt was with Todd. He never showed, called, emailed or texted. After I sat and waited for 4 hours I called him to find out he "had an emergency". Fine, scheduled appt for next day. Waited 3 hrs and then got a call 15 min away. Shows up. I was of course with other contractors bc they had appointments too and were on time. Todd refuses to enter the home and even look at our water heaters or test our hot water that was the issue reported. He further starts raising his voice at me telling me he is a "master plumber" and he doesn't have to look at anything to know what "I am doing". He condescendingly made comments we were renovating and we just wanted a new hot water heater Bc we were "just like all those other people in this neighborhood" just wanting something for free. At this point I told him that it was just best if he left my property. He then started screaming passive aggressively at his assistant saying "I told you, these people are all like this. They had me come all the way out here and waste my time bc they wanted something for free". He did this in front of all the other contractors and so loud all the way to his car that we could continue to hear him from the backyard. His behavior was absolutely uncalled for, disrespectful and hurtful. If that wasn't enough, he then apparently went back to his car and maliciously wrote a FALSE report to warranty company claiming there was nothing wrong with our units or systems and claimed there were "access problems" preventing him from reviewing anything inside the home. Now they won't send anyone else out. CUSTOMER BEWARE with this company!

Our upstairs bathroom tub handle broke off and water was spraying everywhere. I was able to get a hold of Todd within minutes and he sent me detailed pictures of how to turn off water at the main and was out to our house within a little over an hour. Very impressive response and service thank you!
