My garbage disposal stopped working. I called the Plumbing Police, and they sent a team out in two days. I suspected the problem might be electrical power, but I had checked the circuit breakers, and that was not the problem. I asked the team to check that the old disposal was getting power to the unit, but they did not.
The new disposal did not work either. It turns out the problem was the on/off switch on the wall. I replaced that for $1.49, and the new disposal worked. The team stayed with me while I tested the old switch and helped diagnose the problem. The new disposal was $368.00, which I probably did not need. The old disposal was about 11 or 12 years old and was working until the wall switch failed.
My point is that had the troubleshooting began with checking electrical continuity (as I requested), I would have had a less expensive result. However, the old disposal was ancient and would have failed sooner or later. Nevertheless, I did not have the option because of the process.

Very professional team! They were on time, thorough, answered all my questions and successfully diagnosed and fixed my plumbing issues. They also fixed a poor repair done previously by another! We noticed a slow leak in our water heater in the evening, did our best to sop it up and called Plumbing Police. The young lady who took the call was very realistic about how much more money we'd need to spend if we had plumbers come out right away. After talking for a bit, we decided to drain the tank and have someone come out first thing.

We got a courtesy phone call when they were on their way, and I was so impressed with their speed and professionalism. After a quick consult and estimate, they had a new hot water heater installed in about an hour. The price was more than fair and the work looks great. Highly recommended!

I can't believe they don't have 70+ 5-star reviews on Yelp (there are 3 at the time of this review)... because I cannot say enough good things about Plumbing Police! They've helped us out on a few different issues and no matter how small or large the project, their attention to detail, reasonable and honest pricing, professionalism, knowledge, and timeliness is on point. Will and Jason are fantastic! I think I said thank you about 10 times the last time they fixed an issue. Hire them!

The Plumbing Police are genuine, honest and trustworthy. I've been calling the Plumbing Police periodically for years. When I call them, I usually always get a hold of Bob. He has over 30 years of experience in the plumbing trade. He is always helpful in giving me the knowledge of how to diagnose and fix the problem. If I am not comfortable doing it myself, they are the only ones I trust to do the work. I wouldn't call anyone else for my plumbing needs.

I had the expansion tank on my water heater spring a leak on Saturday morning. I called at least four plumber services in the Fredericksburg area and could not get anyone to call me back or come to the house. I am not familiar with water heater systems and needed advice as my basement was taking on water. My wife called Plumbing Patrol based on a 5 star review she had read. She spoke with a very courteous receptionist who passed our information along to Robert (plumber). Robert called us back within minutes and actually save me hundreds of dollars by talking me through the procedure for replacing an expansion tank on the phone. I was beside myself from the level of professionalism Robert extended to us. I should also mention that Robert was attending a ceremony with family members when he called us back - he actually cared enough about the service call that he was willing to step away from the proceedings to talk me through my dilema.
