These are the best Plumbers in Sugarhouse period.

A few years back, we needed the main sewer line to our house replaced because our tree had crushed the original main and sewage was backing up into the basement.

We hired a person online, who claimed to be licensed and bonded, but didn't bother checking.

He came with a crew, dug up our yard, broke our water line, and then covered up and abandoned the job, taking our money in the process.

We contacted Plumbing Plus because they were close to us.

They sympathized with our situation, gave us a stellar quote to fix everything.

They came in, did everything by the book, replaced the main-line, and even went through considerable effort to preserve the tree. They came into a considerable amount of gravel that they had to drill through which wasn't part of the original quote, but they stuck to the original agreement and didn't charge us extra for the considerable extra effort.

They also replaced our main water line in the process.

Everything worked great for years afterwards, all the way until we sold the house and moved.

These guys are the most honest, decent, hard working, plumbers in the valley.

I live in a house built in the late 30s, so the plumbing is unique, to say the least. In the past I've had plumbers who have had no idea how to deal with some of the issues. Well last week I decided to try plumbers plus based on a friend's recommendation and they dealt with an ongoing problem in a professional and low-cost way. Daniel came out twice to make sure everything was properly done and now for the first time in 20 years everything this house is running perfectly plumbing-wise. Called for an appointment. The technician stayed for 5 min at my house and tightened a screw by hand. A bill came in the mail with a $161 balance. They charged a minimum of 1 hour service!!!
DO NOT GO with them! Worst plumbing service ever!

I recently used this company for a leaking sprinkler pipe. I paid $600+ for the sprinkler pipe to be replaced, only to have my landscaper find that it was leaking again 2 months later. He was doing some work on other areas of my irrigation system, and, unfortunately replaced it prior to telling me of the leak or I would have had Plumbing Plus fix the problem. I was told that the connection had been overtightened and cracked the pipe when it was replaced. In addition, my landscaper told me the work to replace it should have cost at the most $150. Basically, this company ripped me off and did poor quality work. Will never use them again. Steer clear of this business. I would have given them 0 start if I could.

Paul and Plumbing Plus provided us an amazing plumbing experience. As many of you in the SugarHood know, these old houses can be a real treat when a major utility is giving you problems.

Our problem was the boiler. Besides Freddy Krueger, no one hangs out in the boiler room studying the ins and outs of this old but efficient way of heating. We called around and started having techs come by for quotes. Immediately the first two plumbers identified within 10 min that we needed a new boiler. You know just a quick ""thorough"" diagnosis and just like that... $15,000 and I'll have you back to normal. Wtf! Luckily for us my wife had lined up a 3rd appt with Paul. He ran a series of isolation scenarios and within a couple of hours and trials narrowed the issues down to a failing hot water tank and pressure regulator valves. He even brought in other subject matter experts to confirm. Their thoroughness and patience saved us over $10,000 and made us customers for life. They have even have stopped by or called just to check to see how everything is going. I highly recommend their services.

Had Plumbing Plus come out and look at our sprinklers. We had them come out to view a crack in the sprinkler and a tub with slow draining. The gentleman who showed up was great but didn't really know what was wrong with either and said he would talk to his boss and get back to us. No one ever got back to us and we received a bill in the mail for 1 hours ($146) with ZERO resolution. I tried to call Plumbing Plus 12+ times to speak with someone about a resolution and sent emails. We have yet to receive a call or email back on this matter!

Plumbing Plus provided expert, responsive answers to my questions about my water heater when it truly counted. Their guidance saved me from making a very costly mistake.

Paul at Plumbing Plus convinced me NOT to buy a new water heater, while another local company wanted to sell me a new one the minute they stepped foot in my house.

Turns out, the problem with my water heater was just a sensor, that I was able to order and replace myself. Paul said the water heater was fine, and has a number of years left in it given its little use.

We can't thank Paul enough for his advice that saved us thousands. When I need them - and that day will certainly come - I will call Plumbing Plus. I'm glad to see a company that has their eye on the long-term, building lasting relationships with their customers.

This company is a life saver!! I found them highly rated on Angie's List and after a subpar contractor failed on all the plumbing on a house I have been fixing up. I called this company on three separate occasions as problems occurred. They are fast, efficient, and fair. Even the office staff was patient and friendly. I see why they have the top rating on Angie's. I'm keeping their phone number and passing it onto friends and family!

I don't think I have ever been more put off by a company. My original appointment was missed without warning which followed up to a 3-4PM appointment which was also not shown up for without warning. 2 times I was stood up by the same company without the decency to even text me saying they can't make it. I don't have endless days to wait around to be stood up by a plumbing company, I give up.
