Scott is a terrific communicator! Thoroughly discussed my issue with me on the phone so that I ultimately realized that I didn't really need a plumber! How many plumbers will do that?!!
Even though he didn't perform any work for me I will call him without hesitation the next time I have an issue.

Scott is great. I've been cheated by so many plumbers at my condo in Alameda and finally discovered Scott a few years ago. His work and prices have been good every time and he is an honest person. He even changed around his schedule for my emergency today. Recommended to anyone looking for a good plumber.

Our hot water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced ASAP. I was fortunate to be referred to Scott by another local plumber who could not take on a new client on short notice. After contacting Scott, he came to our home within hours to see assess our needs and prepare to order what was needed to do the work. He returned the next day with a new water heater and parts needed to complete the installation. He arrived 3 hours later than planned due a late delivery to his supplier. He then stayed until 7 PM to complete the work. A few days later, we used his skills to install new feeds to a bathroom sink which had low water pressure. Again, he was conscientious, courteous, and efficient in this project. To echo what others have said, Scott is a real pro, honest with fair rates and explains his work in an easy to understand manner.

I'm giving 5 stars and he never even showed! How you ask? Because he talked me through over the phone how to fix my stuck garbage disposal! Seriously, how amazing is that? I needed my garbage disposal fixed ASAP for the Thanksgiving rush on my house so I called him, only to have him say ""I hate to take your money for this"" and proceeded to tell me exactly how to fix it. So bottom line, this is the place to call for superior honesty and professional plumbing. Wish Yelp went above 5 stars.

I don't give 5 stars easily. In Scott's case, I have no hesitation to give him 5 stars. Scott was friendly, personable, competent, experienced and was willing to take the time to explain things to you. Others might not have had the patience to explain things. He installed the plumbing necessary for my parents to have an extra washer in the garage and other plumbing necessities. I appreciated his attention to detail to do things right. He was respectful (e.g. took his shoes off, in the way he talked to you, etc). I enjoyed working with him and would use his services again.

I called Scott as water from beneath my kitchen sink ran over my feet, hoping that he would come quickly. Instead, he patiently talked me through the problem over the phone, telling me how I could fix the leak myself, while offering to come round if the fix didn't work. It did and I'm very grateful. So rather than call him out to my house, I'd like to call him out her as someone patient, helpful, and quite willing to put the customer first.

Scott is an amazing person in addition to being a great plumber. He squeezed me in on short noticed, made quick work of my clogged drain that I couldn't snake out.

But Scott left an impression on me. Immediately, you get the sense that he's not trying to rush through the work but really trying to do a good job... because it's the right thing to do. He uses environmental friendly products rather than dump a bunch of chemicals down your drain. He charged me a fair price. He's thoughtful about cleaning up. You get the sense he thinks about the people and families he's impacting. Oh and he didn't ask me to write this review unlike a lot of other businesses.

Working with Scott made me think about how I can 'pay it forward' and spread a bit more kindness to the world.
