While working from home this morning, all of a sudden, I heard a hissing noise from outside. Sure enough, a water pipe had cracked with a hairline fracture, and a nice stream of water spraying out.

I wasted no time calling of Plumbing Plus. They had done a previous job for me (unclogged some unsightly back up in my yard) and didn't disappoint.

I spoke with their receptionist who said someone would be out between 2-4pm, which was fine as I know this was all of a sudden and now it was after 11 am.

She said if they could get here earlier, they would. Sure enough, about a hour an hour later, I received a text that they were on their way out. This was followed up with another email saying that someone was on their way out. As I was a repeat customer, I didn't have to give any more information that they didn't already have. I forgot how great this service was. Not only did I receive a text, within the text was a picture of the person coming out, but he also had a little background bio about himself.

Jared Nicholson and Jordan came out as scheduled and did the work efficiently. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Jared explained what needed to be done and priced out the work for us. As a repeat customer, I even received a discount. As the leak was outside the room I worked from home in, and I couldn't even hear them do the work. There was no disruption in my day.

They even stayed to make sure the pipe was not leaking afterwards.

As this is my second go around with them, this is my ""go-to"" company for plumbing issues. Thank you Plumbing Plus for your great service and great people.

Very pleased with the gas line repair - Everyone involved in the project was professional, honest, hardworking and understanding. There was great communication with all the workers and the office throughout the entire project. My elderly neighbor had a deteriorating, leaking gas line at the pipe rising out of the ground leading into her house. We are in Encinitas and I contacted a few local plumbers with gas line experience to get their assessment of the situation and what it would take to repair it. But when I called Plumbing Plus, the experience and sensibility pouring through the phone line made the decision easy. On site they did an outstanding job of diagnosing, repairing, and securing a permit from the city inspector for the repair so she could get the gas turned on again. The workers helped excavate around the riser to the point where it met the main line and then verified that everything beyond that was intact and able to hold pressure. That way they only had to replace the rotting riser near her condo. Other companies said they'd have to dig up the entire 50 ft line over to the SDGE junction for her unit. They didn't even want to bother to try to do only what was needed. These other companies quoted thousands over what Plumbing Plus charged. It's really important for a company and the workers to be able to think on their feet and assess each situation rather than apply the 'same solution for all' approach when it's not warranted. They even included a senior discount for my neighbor. Highest recommendation!

I came home Friday night to discover my hot water heater was leaking and and had stopped working. I called Plumbing Plus and they sent out Mike first thing the next morning. He was very professional and got the job done in a very timely manner. I have another job for them in the works soon and would hire them anytime. Also, I just found out that Mike is the president of the company! Now that's service! I highly recommend Plumbing Plus for anybody who wants an honest and professional plumber. Thank you!

These folks are amazing. We just bought a new home and had some problems with the main pressure regulator and a few other items. Their man came out when he said he would, was very polite and courteous, and got the job done.

After he left, I discovered some other problems with a toilet. I looked up a couple of inexpensive replacements and wrote to Plumbing Plus to ask their opinion of the units. I got back a 400 word answer explaining not only what they thought of the units I suggested but also about the benefits/disadvantages of one piece vs. two piece, single flush vs. dual flush, and other bits of information and links to a number of units they would recommend.

As I said, these folks are amazing!!!

I had a plumbing issue and the owner Mike came out and was incredible. He was professional, understanding, friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and provided exemplary customer service that surpassed my expectations. I would highly recommend him to anybody. Not only did he fix the problem but he went above and beyond and while fixing the issue, he also pointed out other things to possibly address in the future with regard to other plumbing needs.

I had calcification on my pipes and valves which was found during installation of a washing machine. Plumbing plus sent Jared Nicholson out for repairs and replacement of the valves and pipes. This was done in probability less than 1/2 and hour. Everything is running smoothly and the communication with the company went well. Highly recommend!

Wish I had something good to add to all the fine reviews that Plumbing Plus has on Yelp. Although the personnel at the company were polite, no one could give me a cost associated with replacing two parts in my shower stall. I even offered them the part number.
The reason I was given, from Randy, was that the plumbers they send work out of a ""book"" based on the job. That price is on their I-Pads. Here is where Randy lost credibility with me. I asked him what the book price would be for the job I had described and he told me they don't keep the ""book"" at the office. Really? He went on to also say they don't quote prices over the phone because of problems in the past. As I said, polite but unwilling to give me any idea what the cost might be. I will now call a plumbing com

Randy was very polite when I called to schedule an appointment to look at a leak showing up in my garage ceiling. He was able to get a tech to my home the next day, first thing in the morning.

Jared arrived on time and was waiting for me. Everyone in the company including the owner seem very polite, but professional. I will definitely use these guys again.
