They are very responsive but I guess my case was just bad luck. They didn't inform me there were any diagnosis fee and just send me an invoice of $75 . I have talked to couple other services and none of them have charged any diagnosis fee . It's kind of a bad business practice to not inform the customer of the pricing upfront. I had told them there was a leak and pics would have been easy to tell that it needs a rebuild. Didn't need a 75$ diagnosis for that. It's a very sneaky way of overcharging the customers.

A big shout out to the team who helped install the water softener at my house. Especially to Kevin, Marshall, and Dylan. They were great about everything. On time, patient, and explained everything they were going to do.
Not to mention this company is great because they actually service Elgin! (Unlike some other companies I contacted in the Austin area because I guess Elgin is out of their service range).
Thanks so much again and I definitely know who I'll contact if I have any plumbing issues in the future.

I can't believe I hadn't already written a review for these guys as this is my THIRD time using Plumbing Outfitters and have had exceptional service every time.

I've had them do the following work:
1. I had a leak in a pipe just above my slab. Another company wanted to jackhammer into the foundation...lol. Luckily we did a hard pass with those psychos and had Warren run a line through the attic instead. He was fast and nice.
2. When the pandemic hit, I was one of those crazy people who decided to take advantage of the time at home (I'm usually on the road) and took a sledgehammer to the bathroom shower wall. I had these guys come back to replace the fixtures during the remodel -- again, fast and nice. Wore a mask bc pandemic, etc etc etc.
3. Today I had Kyle come out to replace my hot water heater. Yet again, high-caliber team. Extremely fast service, communicative, and friendly -- he let me ramble on about crazy stuff and didn't make fun of the hoarders nest I have going on the garage. He even pet my dog and gave me referrals for other local businesses for some other work I need done. They're able to also install the new hot water heater SAME DAY - wild.

For me, I've been in sales my entire career, and while no one wants to pay for this kind of stuff bc it's generally expensive and unexpected, the most I can control is who I work with. For me, using local, reliable, fairly priced and fast is going to bring me back to Plumbing Outfitters every single time.

Thank you to the entire team - I greatly appreciate you and will be thinking of you as I take a hot shower tonight! This just got weird...too much? Lol. Jokes aside - really appreciate your entire team!

Kyle came over to evaluate a few things we needed done around the house. We got great pricing (I checked 3 other companies) and a very quick response (which was not matched by others).
Everything was taken care of quickly and professionally, and we were happy.

A week later we had a major leak (which had nothing to do with the work done). Kyle came ASAP, super early in the morning, to look at what happened. Not only did he help stop the leak and make sure everything was intact, but he also recommended other service providers to help deal with the damage (wet leaking walls etc.)

Kyle and Plumbing Outfitters are highly skilled, professional, quick to respond and have fair pricing. Their work, as well as recommendation for future maintenance (done by home owner), is priceless.

The tech Dylan showed up on time and knew exactly what needed to be done. He repaired the shower faucet in less than 30 mins at a VERY reasonable cost. I will use these people for all future plumbing needs. These people are trust worthy, honest and reasonable.

People in the greater Austin / Round Rock area need to call these people rather than the big name companies who are only interested making costly repairs. Two of these big companies estimates was over $500 for valve replacement when it really only needed to adjusted and a screw tightened to work properly.

Beyond excellent. Truly exceptional. I am now a customer for life! The response was quick, the quote was reasonable and up-front, and they were able to come the very next day to replace a pressure regulating valve in my yard. It all went off without a hitch, but we noticed that the water flow in our kitchen sink had not increased, even with the new PRV. Even though they were already in their van and almost on their way, they came back in and figured out what was wrong with my crazy kitchen faucet. They absolutely did not stop trying until they had gotten everything just right. I can't remember the last time I was so impressed with somebody's commitment to doing things the right way on the first try. Keith and everyone were awesome. Truly impressed!
