During this time of the Corona Virus issue, our pipe that comes from the main water connection to our home burst early today. Water was literally gushing out onto the already heavily rain soaked yard and street. After we shut off the water my Landlord called Plumbing Matters. David from Plumbing Matters called me and promised a time to be here. David arrived on time, repaired the pipe and we had water again all within a span of 1 and 1/2 hours from his arrival. Most of this time was waiting for glue to dry! Lol
David was kind, professional and fast. I will readily recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work done!!

I called for an estimate for a broken pipe under my house. They came with a camera/locator, charged me $235.00, and said they would have an estimate the following day. I called several times but they never sent an estimate or explanation - just ripped me off for $235.00. I had to pay someone else - Roto Rooter - for another camera service. Liars and thieves!

Plumbing Matters was quick to return my call and schedule my work that needed to be done. They came out and gave me a quote and then half way through the job told me there were some more repairs which added to the price. They came back in again and stated I needed to have the lines hydrojetted due to a total blockage and that they would email me the estimate for this job, it was emailed at 12:11am as well as a text to my phone, I gave them my availability, and to this time I have not heard back from them. They are great on setting up you initial job, but I see no follow through to complete the job.

and a note the "total blockage" was cleared by a simple plunger and we no longer have any drain issues in house.

I have had two really great experiences with David from Plumbing matters & would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing an expert plumber.
My first need was a bad leak in a rental property. It was a weekend. David explained the $100 emergency fee. It was a bad leak in a tub faucet, so we needed help asap. He was able to resolve the problem for much less time & money than I thought. I was expecting to have to cut through a wall, but he had the parts or got them quick & did a great job.
I called him to resolve a different faucet repair at another property. He explained the options of repair vs. replace with very detailed costs. I asked him to try to repair the older faucet (more well made than the new ones, IF it could be fixed) as he would apply the time to the replacement cost if it didn't work out. Very happy he was able to repair & even improve the older faucet. Reasonable price, great communication with my tenant.
I intend to use him again for some hydrostatic testing. Prices are reasonable & he is able to work within my time frame. He is also available to answer questions & is very knowledgeable.

I found water in my garage, and found out my toddlers wall had a leak in it near the water heater. Calling around to other plumbers I was told the earliest appointment was 4 days from now due to hunting season. A friend told me to call plumbing matters, and they came out right by away, same day! The plumber was professional, efficient, and informative. The pricing was very reasonable for work in the evening on a Friday. I highly recommend this company based off my experience tonight!

Among the Specialties the business lists are slab leak and leak detection. My initial call to David was to verify if the business performed those services and the cost. He said yes and the cost was $250.00 I wound up paying them $310.00. The test(s) were performed on Sept 27, 2018. I never received a reply from the company on the status of the tests. Over an 18 day time frame I had to initiate all calls or send e-mails to get some customer service. Customer service is also listed as one of their Specialties. David informed me that the plumbing system was leaking, but they could not locate the leaks and would have to perform more tests. I requested, but never received a detailed written report on their findings. Do not recommend the company to perform slab leak or leak detection services. I had another company perform the same services. The other company was very professional and courteous. Within 3 days they had a very detailed written report on their findings and a proposal to repair the leaks.

David was such an Allstar!! My toilet had been "running" for weeks. My husband had basically replaced everything in the tank and still it was "running". David came out after a busy day and in a matter of minutes he had my problem fixed. David was super friendly and polite and didn't even charge me for the service!!! I would not hesitate to use him in the future!!

I was in a bind and needed a plumber asap at 5 pm on a Wednesday. David was at my home by 6:45 and out by 7:30. He unclogged my shower that was backed up and causing my toilet to back up as well. He was very professional, friendly and even cleaned up after himself.

I only gave three stars because of the explanation of the cost of services rendered. When I called he said that it was an extra $100 to begin with because it was after hours. Understood and totally makes sense. I asked if he could give me a ball park, he said including the $100 I was looking at $250-$350. Fine, as I was in a huge bind. He ran the snake once and nothing. So then as we spoke he began to think it was an electrical issue, not plumbing. Before leaving he suggested running the snake one more time, and that did the trick. It was indeed a plumbing issue. As I stated, he was at my home from 6:45 to 7:30 pm...less than an hour. I'm assuming it will be toward the lower end since it didn't take very long. I asked him how much it was going to be, he shot off $375. WOW! So, not only the high end of the estimate but even more! No per hour rate was given to justify this cost other than the $100 extra due to it being after hours, not in person or on the invoice he later emailed me. Personally, I don't like that. A business should have a rate that they can present to the customer, all customers, not seem to pick and choose who they charge what. And perhaps he does have a rate schedule, it just wasn't provided to me. I would hate to see the cost if he is at your home more than an hour or two!! Be sure to ask for his hourly rate before hand.

We love our water softener they installed. David and his staff were so experienced and efficient. It is hard to find a trustworthy plumber and we couldn't be more happy with the service they provided.
