The system is old and he updated and relocated the valve to make future access more convenient. Used quality parts and did not overcharge. I called Plumbing Kings after a bad experience with another plumber. Tony was honest and quick with pricing. I liked that he had a DocuSign contract because it holds each of us accountable. He came today and installed our water heater as promised and at the agreed rate. It works perfectly and I am so grateful that I get to take a hot shower today. ;) I highly recommend Plumbing Kings... I called this company told him my situation that I hired another plumber to come out and fix my toilet and I had mentioned to him that the next day he didn't wanna come back to fix it he told me he would be out there to take a look came out within 45 minutes took a look at the problem and told me that the parts inside the tank was not installed properly. The chain was too long so therefore when the flapper closed, it was closing on the chain and causing the toilet to run, fixed it and didn't even charge me a scent Tried to give them a tip didn't want the tip. It's very hard, to find reliable plumber who will take pride in there work. And won't take your money and run. My list on who I called to come out. I needed to get emergency repair work done for the toilet because the valve was worn out and the water was constantly running for the past four days. I couldn't hold off the situation any longer. Out of all the companies I've messaged on Yelp for a quote, Plumbing Kings Hawaii was the only one that responded to me in a timely manner. They came really fast, replaced the valve, and only charged for the work done. I highly recommend them because they are friendly and professional.

They responded quickly to my request for an estimate to replace my water pressure regulator in our condo. The owner communicated well regarding the part that was ordered and came on time to do the job which took less than an hour. The rate was fair with no surprises. After it was installed I noticed that the water pressure would spike every once in a while, so I called and he offered to follow up with the water supply department to learn if water was being pumped into my neighborhood. He found out that it was being pumped at 90 psi to ensure that the fire hydrants were supported. So the new prv seems to be working but will spike each day to around 80 psi which is still technically ok via code. I'm just happy that this business is willing to help after the job is done to make sure everything is working as it should be. I would contact them again if we need plumbing services in the future.

Emergency Water Heater Replacement Here's another instance of an emergency where without warning my sister's water heater started shorting out and tripping the breaker. Tony was at the house checking on completely different problems but he stopped, diagnosed the issues, gave me the estimate and replaced the old water heater with a new one in basically 24 hours - this one was complicated because it has a solar interface and it turned out that a lot of the parts were corroded and the job was just a pain. They worked non-stop to make sure the house wouldn't be without hot water for too long and completed the work exactly as promised. I'm blessed by a few very professional, reliable vendors and Tony/Plumbing Kings, is definitely one of them. Last thing: unlike most plumbers it's never ""Sorry, next week or two or three weeks,"" but it's always: I'll try to get over there right now or today to at least tell you what's going on.

Originally only going to do a free estimate, but It was an easy fix.. just needed to replace the wax seal on a toilet. And Tony and the team were great! Arrived early, inspected and decided to knock it our right away. Didn't try to up-sell to a bigger issue, just knocked it out when he saw the problem. And was almost gone before I knew it.. My pressure regulator valve (PRV) for my townhome has been acting up for a year. One day, it jammed and stopped water flow completely to my unit. I had guests staying with me and it was over the weekend. I was able to open up the PRV and get it unstuck so we could have water but it was leaking and still needed to be replaced. I heard about Tony and his crew at Plumbing Kings Hawai'i via a colleague of mine who used them. He is extremely reliable, responsive via text, and an excellent value. He doesn't talk down to you, is knowledgeable, and is just an overall great guy. Mahalo for coming out on such short notice and getting my PRV replaced despite some hiccups with 1"" vs 3/4"" piping due to commercial building codes. Highly recommended. Would use for future plumbing needs.
