Plumbing King
Company Overview
The Plumbing King is a complete company specializing in every aspect of plumbing for homes, multi-family units, and light commercial. We are a family-owned business with over years of expertise in the plumbing field. Our growth is built on values such as honesty and a passion to craftsmanship. With confidence, we warrant our workmanship and materials. For your safety, we provide emergency service, and we are completely covered with a team of experienced technicians.
We started our local plumbing company in the late 90s in Cali with my father, and roughly 10 years ago, we brought the business to Port Charlotte. We have expanded our offerings by implementing new plumbing techniques. We now provide jetting services and PEX re-piping that come with warranties for life. We look forward to further expansion with the support of our dedicated customers.
James, our lead plumber has over 20 years of experience in plumbing, inspired by his deceased dad with the same name who ran his own plumbing firm. Following his dad's legacy, he has embraced the family business and aims to deliver customers integrity and a commitment for our work.

Recommended Customer Reviews

They arrived within an hour of my call, fixed my water supply line leak, cleaned up and for a most reasonable price. They were very friendly but professional, all that you hope for but rarely receive. Highly recommend!

Avoid at all costs. Charged $450 to install a new toilet valve (took 15 minutes and costs $20 at Home Depot) and install new shut off valve outside. After installation, the new pipe around the shut off valve leaked because it was not soldered adequately. We had to call another plumber who replaced shut off valve again for $120 (compared to $300 that Plumbing King charged us).

I was surprised to see a previous low review score on Plumbing King. My experience was totally opposite. I have used Plumbing King on 3 occasions including re-piped my entire house. It is the only company that I would use. The owner/supervisor, James, is very knowledgeable, honest, and responsive. When his workers encountered a problem, he showed up and helped right away, even on a weekend. I am so impressed with his ethics and professionalism. The price is very fair. Out of the 3 estimates for repiping, theirs came out the best with the least wall openings and a lifetime warranty. Call Plumbing King first and you won't regret.

James at Plumbing King was a true life saver! When the tenant in my rental home in the New York section called on a Saturday to inform me of a water leak, I was anxious to solve the problem ASAP. I called several plumbing companies, only to hear a voice message. The first human voice I heard was James Hall. He said he would be there in half an hour. My tenant watched him work & declared him the best plumber he had ever seen. He was capable, efficient, & reasonable. James has my business for as long as he is in the business!

They are fantastic. I highly recommend them. My hot water heater broke and they were there that day to fix it. I called several other companies and they quoted me outrageous amounts and wouldn't be able to fix that day. Thank you plumbing king for saving the day!

Do NOT hire this company! They did not know how to install a solar water heater and called a Ft Myers company for help. They never paid that company. Five months later, I had to pay it because I was being turned over to a collection agency! The owner lied to me several times, saying he would pay it. Now I am having another problem with the water heater. I know they will not honor their """"six year warranty"""" and fix it!

After coming to my residence 2 weeks ago they scheduled me for a two hour time slot a week ago - to fix 6 or 7 plumbing issues. They never showed, didn't call to reschedule. So, I placed at least a dozen calls to their office phone number on their website - starting the afternoon they didn't show up. They never answered the phone over those 7 days, or returned my call in response to the two voice mails I left them. I texted the office administrator and registered agent for the business (Danielle Hall, the wife of the owner) on the 3rd day after the no-show. I know she read my text (my iphone says so) but hasn't bothered to text or call me back. If I didn't know any better (and I don't) I would guess their small business is either going out of business - or has already gone out of business - as these are all the signs.
