NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER. Horrible company. They keep saying they are bonded licensed and insured yet cannot provide a license number or any poof. Refused to provide an invoice for work done. Claimed to have a 1 year guaranteed but of course not in writing. So incredibly shady. They convinced my elderly father he needed hydrojet to unclog his drain which did not even work. They charged him $1500 then tried to cash his check multiple times. Fortunately his bank caught the fraudulent transaction and recovered his money but sadly they have been harassing him ever since. They even sent him a bill for $9000 trying to scare him into paying them for a service that didn't even work!! Filing a complaint with the California State Licensing Bureau and reporting him to the FBI. STAY AWAY. I highly suspect all the positive reviews are fake.

This place are scam artist they charge you for a permit that is supposed to be there at the job site so the city can come out and inspect the work so it's up to code. I called the owner Mary and explained that to her she said I will get it in about 6 months that isn't the way it works and I explained the process to her also told her you charged me 79.95 for a drain pan where is she tried sending me to the person who installed it I told her I didn't want to speak with him your the owner and the person that does the billing she hung up on me I have reported her to the contractor's board for review please be careful dealing with this company they will scam you I will say the guy that did install my water heater was pretty nice cat

Beware of this ""Plumber"", he will offer you a free estimate, then he will ""try to fix your issue"" then will switch and say that he needs to do more work at twice the amount of money, when you say no thank you, he will leave his filthy mess behind.

I noticed there was a gas leak in my garage in the late afternoon. We first called the gas company to shut off the valve, and they detected the source was from the gas panel on the gas water tank.

I sent a gas leak repair service request on Yelp immediately, and Ulises ""Plumbing Heroes"" was the first one to respond at 7 pm. We had a short conversation on the phone and he confirmed that it would be a free estimate before I asked them to come.

George arrived an hour later and took a quick look then told me he could provide an estimate to replace the gas control panel or it would be cheaper to know where the source of the leak and just repair or replace that specific part. By doing that, he needs to do a ""diagnostic and troubleshooting to the system"" which would cost $150. I thought he would use some kind of machine to detect the leak source so I agreed to pay the $150 but all he did was the bubble test (which I already did it myself) ...and the thing is he couldn't locate the source of the leak. At the end, he suggested replacing the gas panel like what the gas company recommended...and insisted he did the ""diagnostic and troubleshooting to the system"" so i need to pay for the $150 because they did the job!

End of story I paid the $150 but I didn't hire them at the end.

**This is my first time leaving a review on Yelp because I usually wouldn't bother to type and leave a comment even if it was something bad but I feel obligated to let the community know if they expect a free estimate they are not the company you should contact.**

Ulises was called by my-brother-in-law for backed up sewer/drains in the bathrooms. He was one that was close and says he can be there in 45 mins. (Working on a Sunday night is a plus)
I get things happen but don't say you will be here in 20 mins and arrive 90 mins later. And calling that you will be late would help instead of me having to call you twice to ask if you are getting close.
The drains needed hydro jet service and he went through the front clean out based on some questions he asked to determine why it might be clogged up. He put the camera in but the way the pipes bend, it would not let him see inside. He suggested the hydro service anyways even though it can technically bust the pipes if it had a crack. His Hydro machine needed 20 mins of technical difficulties because it would not be start up. I also understand a working man with a machine that might need some work because not every business can have a brand new machine.
The clean out appears to be ok (he pulled out a clump of hair) but can't really tell because the tenant had already cleared the clog but it had backed up before so we said ok to hydro jet.
Quoted $450 w 8 month guarantee. He said cash would be less so he took $400 with 6 month guarantee. No invoice given on the spot. He said he will email it. It's been a week, he doesn't respond to text or phone calls.
Looked him up on the state contractors site and it does not appear he is licensed. Think he has some skills but not licensed. His pants had paint all over it so I think he does other things besides plumbing.

Would not recommend bc he charges prices same as licensed contractor when he is not licensed and not very professional as paperwork or being on time. He is a smooth talker though.

I had used plumbing Heroes about a year ago and was very happy with their work so naturally when my mom needed a simple plumbing job of leaky faucet and shut off valve I called them. I called them on a Saturday morning but no answer. Eventually my call was returned and I spoke with Ulisses. He was friendly as usual and wanted pictures of the faucet. I sent him the picture and he suggested that it would be best to just replace it and he could do it ""immediately"" so I told him I would head to the hardware store to purchase a new one. At the store I sent him a picture of the one I was going to purchase and he responded ""Okay Awesome"". As I was walking back to my car I texted him asking what time he would be able to come and do the job (it was 12:59 in the afternoon). No answer.
I thought maybe he got tied up in another job but still thought it was rude and unprofessional not to respond. The next morning I checked my messages, no response. I sent him another message asking if he still wanted the job, again no answer. To make a long story short, he never responded at all. I called someone else and they finished the job in 35 minutes.
I'm very disappointed because I thought I had found a really good plumber but in retrospect he did me a big favor because I was planning on having the all the pipes replaced at my house and now I know who I will definitely not be calling.
I don't know why my review states San Francisco, I'm located in the San Gabriel Valley.

Do Not and I MEAN DO NOT GO TO THEM! They do multiple things like flooring, Gardening, PLUMBING, I have worked with four of those people in the ""Family ""FRAUD""&THEFT"" Business! They are very good at what they do! They will steel your warranty and put in an old machine or whatever they do ! I thank God that my warranty company gave us a whole new one with our new Plumbing Co (that was really licenced) MAN , Moses was good at acting like he hated his brother in law and the reason he couldn't get out here for the work he was doing was he had anxiety and heart problems but the doctor said that he was fine he said ULISIS LIVES AT MY GRANDMA'S SO IM GOING TO GO TELL HIM TO GIVE YOU THE MONEY BACK OR ELES HES NEVER GONNA BLA BLA BLA! It was all a lie and I completely believed him because he sounded like a good God fearing Christian always making excuses up about what he didn't get back to me because of doing something for the pastor or the pastor was a plumber too and could get me a deal since he used to work for a company... Omg! So I am making a police report for what they have stolen and not done so I can take them to Court. I also complains to the board of contractors and wow! Let's just say and the warranty company is going after them and ofcoarse I will report to the B.B.B SO GOOD LUCK TO WHOMEVER WANTS TO TAKE A CHANCE WITH SOME REAL GOOD CON ARTISTS

I had a backup in one of my units on 11/24 & found Plumbing Heroes on Yelp. Despite of the bad reviews, I decided to give them a try since he was the 1st to respond & I needed the issue to be fixed right away. When Ullysis came he suggested that I needed hydro jet & mentioned that they have a special for hydro jet & camera service for $375. I agreed to it & paid $375. He said that I should receive the camera inspection emailed to me in a couple of days. It's now more than a month & I still have not received the camera inspection. I've called Ullysis, he said he will have his assistant email it to me. It's now 1/08/20 & I still have not received my camera inspection. So I called him numerous times & he didn't answer or respond. He doesn't even have the decency to call back. The service he did was probably no more than $200. This company is horrible & would try to sell you more & not deliver what was promised. Don't fall for his trap when he tells you they're running a special. It's a scam. You will be wasting your money with this company & would end paying a lot more than what they offer. I would give this company zero stars.

Responded to my inquiry within the same day. Was able to come out to provide a free estimate and offered a very reasonable price. Provided great customer service and work. Thank you!!!

Unfortunately, Ulisses has the potential, but with the way he works and conducts his business, he will never be successful at what he does.

He initially shows up (talks a big game), does the work, gets paid, gives a warranty, and then disappears. After the initial job he did for me, I recommended him to others. Each person was disappointed because he would never show up to appointments - even when he's confirmed a few hours before. I have had scheduled appointments that he's elected not to show up to. No calls/texts to say he's not coming, no re-schedules, just disappears. Similar to other posters on yelp, friends who have used him, and my personal experience, he does quite a serious disappearing act. To add to not showing up, he does not answer calls, texts, for days/weeks/months on end.

Avoid this company altogether. He will for sure disappoint you.
