Initially I needed an estimate for a small modification of a propane line, but unfortunately the water heater started leaking while we were arranging the time for on-site estimate so I used the opportunity to do both and upgrade to a tankless water heater.

From all contractors I worked so far, Thomas, Darrell and team, were by far the best:
- I got a quick estimate on site without the usual fees
- They were very patient while I was trying to get Rheem and HomeDepot to cooperate about the old water heater warranty.
- I received a clean and easy to understand quote, broken down to things I wanted, so that I can pick what I need the most and manage the cost.
- Always arrived on time!
- Super friendly and easy to work with
- Once I was ready with the water heater replacement they put me on the schedule without delay
- The installation was super quick and smooth
- Very clean work, the site was cleaner after the work was done
- Very professional installation - all pipes are secured, aligned, very pleasant to look at.
- They went above and beyond and even helped me to load the old water heater to the truck.

I have a high bar for such work, and they met and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended and will call them again for sure!

I chose ""Plumbing and Heating Specialist"" after getting 4 other bids for a boiler replacement. They were the lowest bid which I usually don't take, but I did my due diligence and checked licensing (current) and online reviews. WOW! Let me save you some time. First, I used to work in the plumbing industry, it is very difficult to maintain good reviews in this industry. To say I was shocked and impressed is an understatement. These ratings are VERY impressive:

I hired them with full confidence in their work. In every interaction I found this company to be very courteous and professional! They communicate very well--very responsive, even answering within an hour when I sent emails after business hours. All my questions and concerns were addressed and answered. They were very mindful about not letting my dog out of the backyard. For the work itself, there were 4 guys (2 licensed plumbers and 2 techs) and my boiler was replaced in 6-7 hours. They cleaned up after their work, and took away the old boiler.
I do not hesitate to recommend Thomas, Kyle, Darrell (and the new guy!) at Plumbing and Heating Specialist. If you need plumbing or heating work, look no further! They have a huge service area so if you are in Snohomish, King or Pierce County they can help you.

I asked for estimates for four types of jobs in my house - tankless water heater replacement, furnace replacement, converting a single vanity to a dual vanity, and a drain scope. Very good communication, timely, friendly, relocated gas pipe behind new stove to be able to sit nearer to back wall instead of 4 inches. Reasonably priced as in line with another quote. Would hire again.

Didn't meet my expectation at all. I bought a Groupon for their service. Groupon's deal detail page mentions 6 bullet points under what is included and not a single bullet was covered i.e. no inspection, cleaning, filter change, written assessment, etc. When confronted, the vendor said that I need to schedule another appointment with him. I decided to call another vendor just the next day (invoice attached) and he said no cleaning was done by the previous vendor (Plumbing and Heating Specialist).
