I had an emergency plumbing situation and needed a plumber to come out the same day to unclog the toilet. I called the Plumbing Guys and spoke with the owner Wali, and he was able to get a plumber out on short notice. The process was pretty simple and he instructed me to text the address to another phone number (I guess the number that's listed on Yelp isn't their main number). I did as instructed, and Wali called back and told me that John would be on his way shortly.

John arrived within 2 hours of my call and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. The toilet needed a new ball and chain replacement, and John came equipped with the materials needed. The pricing was fair for the job that was done, and John was quick and thorough. These guys were extremely professional and quick. I'm so grateful that they were able to fix the toilet on such short notice. Excellent service! Thanks Plumbing Guys!

Wow, called at 11am on a Sunday and Wali responded immediately. He said they could help right away. Christian was prompt and courteous (25 min!), professional and friendly. In just a few minutes he snaked the bathroom sink for a clogged drain. Reasonable price. They do installation too so I'm planning to use them to install some bathroom and kitchen fixtures in the near future. Very happy customer!

At 3 o'clock on Friday afternoon, I was going to fix a leaky toilet in the back of my old house. As I went to turn off the water at the main, the valve handle broke off. So, the water was completely turned off for the whole house and the main valve was broken.

I phoned the plumbing guys. The fellow who answered was very courteous and said he would return my call within five minutes after he checked with his two man crew out in the field. He phoned back within three minutes and said they would be at my house within an hour for a free estimate.

Juan and Gustavo arrived about 30 minutes later and gave me a very reasonable estimate, $275, to replace the valve which was soldered into the main copper line. They did the work carefully and quickly and had it fixed in about 40 minutes.

I was so impressed with their work that I asked them to take a look at the leaky toilet. They gave me another very reasonable estimate and had it fixed in about 20 minutes.

Because their work is so efficient and professional, I have no reservations about highly recommending them for your plumbing needs, especially when a crisis happens.

The Plumbing Guys really saved us over the holiday weekend. We called them, they promptly replied and reported to our house to help a major plumbing issue. The plumber was nice and professional. We would use them again in a heart beat!

They put in a water heater and snaked my sewer. Showed up on time. Did a quality job and were nice to work with. I'd highly recommend them! And I intend to use them again. Prices seemed reasonable too.

Yeah, I don't know about ""Plumbing Guys"" in Oakland...We live in Alameda and my uncle-who owns the home - and is elderly and a little disoriented at times- talked with the guy that came out to assess the plugged up kitchen drain. He told him that the pipes that go out to the street were old and in bad shape- and the job would cost 2800.00 bucks to remedy the problem. He offered to snake the drain but warned us that if he broke the pipes under the sink- it would not be ""his fault""

This seemed a little fishy to say the least. We had another plumber come out this morning from Ben Franklin Plumbing- and they said the 2800 dollar estimate was preposterous- and they could fix the problem for less than 400 bucks. The plumber, Michael, dressed in a nice clean jacket with the company logo- was professional, courteous and kind. The job was done in a half hour! They gave us a senior discount - and the bill was 365 bucks! Be careful when you call plumbers in to fix a job. They know that the home owner needs to have it fixed and can prey on them with unnecessary work. Ben Franklin saved my uncle over 2400 bucks. Bravo!!

Stay away from Plumbing Guys unless you have lots and lots of time waiting for him to come back to fix what he didn't do right in the first place. And you cannot believe him when he sets a time. He installed a sump pump after my furnace flooded. Simple, right? $1,200. I called him at 9:00 a.m. when it failed with next rain a week later. He said he would be here in 45 minutes. After leaving many messages, I got a call back at 6:45 p.m. apologizing and saying he would be at the house at 9:00 the next morning. When he finally arrived at 1:00, he found they needed to fix installation. Said he would be there next morning. Finally showed up a day and a half later. Did job. Next rain it failed again. Said he would be there next morning. After I left several messages, a man showed up at 3:45, tinkered with it, and said it was fixed. It wasn't. When I checked 30 minutes later, found area still flooded. Made another call. Again many apologies and promise to have someone here by 9:00 a.m. It's after 1:00 p.m. I give up! I am going to hire someone reliable and send the bill for his/her services to Plumbing Guys. Probably will end up in Small Claims court. At least there I know I will be on a docket where the case is likely to come up at or near a scheduled time. And in the meantime I will have some heat in my house. Very nice guy, but you can't believe a word he says.
