We have lived in Prescott since the 90s and so happy we found Richard at the Plumbing Guild. As you know some of the contractors in Prescott are not very reliable and since meeting Richard we know we have met the plumber we will use every time we need something done in our home. He is reliable, quick to get back to us and he takes his time to explain everything and helps in making our decision as to what we're working on easier. He has done other projects for us and now we are just starting a master bathroom remodel with him and super excited as he gave us great ideas that we hadn't thought of to make it even better and more affordable. Several of our neighbors have called him for projects as well and as are just as pleased.

Richard did a good job plumbing my gas line for my generator. His price was reasonable and he took pride in his work. It is a pleasure to find a honest contractor these days.

We have spent a lot of money with you over the last year or so. Each and every time that you have done a job for us I have asked for a quote. Each time the bill comes back much higher than the quote. The pressure pump at the cabin was quoted at $1800 and you charged us $5200, see what I mean. You and I had a very serious discussion about future work on our property and that the only way I will do business with you is through open communication and upfront estimate and discussion with you. Mary contacted you last week and asked you to come out and unclog the toilet at the cabin and you said your service fee was $75.00. She agreed to your visit to do this work only. Somehow you convinced our 75-year-old veteran and uncle that does not own the property to finance himself a $900 toilet. He does not have the money to do that nor would be do that to him. You decided that the barely used toilet at the cabin could be a nice replacement job for you after it was unclogged. You also thought you could just bill us another $475 for a service fee for coming out and running a camera to find our septic tank. I never approved either of these charges. The only thing Mary approved was you coming out to unclog a toilet. That is all we needed at the time.

I believe you have lied to us on numerous jobs. You have never been upfront with a breakdown of parts and labor. You seem to make up numbers as you go. We will never use you again because we cannot trust you. I have told you the only way we do business is upfront communication. You have violated this for the last time. Your $900 Toilet is sitting down my lane outside my gate on the left-hand side. You are never welcome through my gates again. I will not be paying you for any work that was not authorized. I am adding the Yavapai county Contractors Association on the email and hopefully they will mark your dishonest tactics under their jurisdiction. For you to be dishonest with our uncle about the need for a very high-priced toilet is Elder Abuse to make a dollar. We will post this on multiple social media sites to stop you from doing this to someone else. We had this idea that all our business this last year would have made us one of your top residential clients. You abused your business and plumbing fiduciary role to us. Trust means a lot and you have not learned it yet.
