I was able to connect quickly with a human when I called, and even though it was at the end of the business day, Rasheed made time to handle the problem with my toilet. After assessing the problem (a clog deep in the pipe under the driveway), he had a colleague promptly bring the necessary equipment, and they quickly resolved the situation. Rasheed did a nice job of explaining each step of the work he planned to do and provided an estimate. He was friendly and professional. I called Rasheed of Plumbing For Less because our toilet wouldn't stop running. I called him on a Friday evening thinking he wouldn't be able to come out until at least Monday. He told me he would be over in about an hour.

He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the part in his car. He was quick and his rates were reasonable. I highly recommend him and will use him again for our plumbing needs.

Rasheed is a very reasonable and stand-up guy. My wife called about snaking two of our toilets. Our son decided to use them both (within about 3 hours of each other) as a trash depot. So, a poo-pourri bottle went into one and a toothbrush went into the other. He was able to snake one and get the toothbrush out. He unfortunately had to pull the second toilet to get the bottle out. He was quick about both and was honest about the whole thing. I work in the trades so I could tell he knew what he was talking about and was honest up front about what might be necessary. The price was fair and he is a very friendly guy. Wouldn't hesitate to call him again!

Rasheed and I played phone tag couple times in the afternoon and finally talked at 6:30pm. He offered to come that night and said he would be at my house in 1 hour to 1 hr and 15 mins. He was at my house in 45 mins, took a look at my two issues, had the parts, gave me a reasonable quote for parts and labor and was done and out the door 40 mins later. We were in dire need of finding a plumber that could locate and fix a leak we were experiencing under our kitchen. After researching many plumbing companies I came across Plumbers for Less. Because of the many 5 star reviews and the fact that this company was out of Oakland and that Google guarantees their work if you go thru their process (which i didn't utilize), I decided to call and immediately connected with Rasheed (the person whose name was within all the reviews on Yelp). He came out, same day within the time he slotted for us. Evaluated the situation, as well as a few other plumbing concerns I had, gave me a fair estimate for each issue addressed and solved all of our concerns, which also included installing a new kitchen faucet set, replacing the on/off valve (which required quite a bit of sautering), snaking our bathroom drain and replacing washers, all within about 3 hours. Rasheed was wonderful to work with and so positive..you can tell he loves his work! We are so happy that now we have a ""go to"" person for any future plumbing needs AND we feel good about supporting a Oakland, self employed business. Thanks Rasheed...now if we can find a good handyman service and HVAC company we will be set.

Rashid (Plumbing for Less) is the absolute real deal. I feel incredibly lucky to have found an honest, reliable plumber. I am a new apartment building owner and one of the bathtubs had a broken faucet. Rashid came to inspect the item, replaced both the faucet and the shower head.
