We were in dire need of finding a plumber that could locate and fix a leak we were experiencing under our kitchen. After researching many plumbing companies I came across Plumbers for Less. Because of the many 5 star reviews and the fact that this company was out of Oakland and that Google guarantees their work if you go thru their process (which i didn't utilize), I decided to call and immediately connected with Rasheed (the person whose name was within all the reviews on Yelp). He came out, same day within the time he slotted for us. Evaluated the situation, as well as a few other plumbing concerns I had, gave me a fair estimate for each issue addressed and solved all of our concerns, which also included installing a new kitchen faucet set, replacing the on/off valve (which required quite a bit of sautering), snaking our bathroom drain and replacing washers, all within about 3 hours. Rasheed was wonderful to work with and so positive..you can tell he loves his work! We are so happy that now we have a ""go to"" person for any future plumbing needs AND we feel good about supporting a Oakland, self employed business. Thanks Rasheed...now if we can find a good handyman service and HVAC company we will be set.

Rashid (Plumbing for Less) is the absolute real deal. I feel incredibly lucky to have found an honest, reliable plumber. I am a new apartment building owner and one of the bathtubs had a broken faucet. Rashid came to inspect the item, replaced both the faucet and the shower head. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Rashid is so professional. He knows exactly what he is doing and as someone else commented, he is a very sweet and kind person. I could not recommend him more highly.

Rashid and Gabe did a great job for us tonight in their quick response to our problem, Gabe's great job unclogging our sink/garbage disposal and their very reasonable price to fix it. Our sink started to spit water back at us when we tried to run the disposal, the plunger didn't help and everything was a mess. We called just after dinner, Rashid promised that Gabe would come between 8 and 8:30 but he arrived a little after 7 and was done before 8. He identified the problem, cleaned out the pipes and made sure that everything was working properly before he left. We would recommend them anytime

Spectacular service. Hard to think of that as a description of a plumber but in this case it is true. Our sink/garbage disposal clogged up after dinner. Using the plunger didn't have any effect, running the disposal just spit water and rice shreds at us. We called at a little before 7pm and Rashid assured us that Gabe would come tonight between 8 and 8:30 but he got here about 7:15 and was done before 8. The pipes underneath the sink were filled with rice, looked like much more than just tonight's takeout but no matter. Gabe took it all apart, cleaned everything out, and made sure the water flowed cleanly. This was all done for a very reasonable price. We would recommend Plumbing for Less, Rashid, and Gabe for their good work and great service.

Called the number, and within two hours, Rasheed's colleague Gabe was here at our house in Berkeley to check out the problem and to give an estimate. What I thought was a big issue turned out to be a small glitch. He was quick, attentive, careful, figured it out the problem without cutting the drywall -- what I thought was going to be necessary. No estimate, no big intevention, just some advice. Charged 125 for the trip and his time, which came like a huge relief. He was friendly and professional -- I saved their number.

Rasheed is the best. He installed a new water heater at a very reasonable rate. He is proficient and professional at all levels. He even replaced a corroded pipe with a copper one at no extra charge. I recommend him highly and without reservation. I will be contacting him for future plumbing needs.

He rushed right over and took care of a challenging job with a great perspective, wonderful demeanor, and cleaned up after the mess. Rasheed from Plumbing for Less did a fantastic job when he came over to fix the leak on my Dishwasher drain pipe and water intake pipe. He also fixed the kitchen faucet and bathroom faucets. His pricing was super reasonable. First we were planning to go with Lalo's plumbing and their quote was $1100 including the parts. Rasheed gave a quote of $340 and i bought the parts which cost around $160. So overall that was much much cheaper than Lalo's pricing. Work quality was superb. It has been 2 weeks and no leaks or issues.

Rasheed definitely requires a mention about his mild mannered demeanor. A very friendly guy. So next time before you try finding a plumber give Rasheed a chance. You will surely like him and his work.

Rasheed is a hard working honest guy. He came over on time and got our clog dealt with in an efficient and no-nonsense fashion. He also charged us a fair price. The job was very complicated and involved getting into our basement to snake the pipe down there directly instead of going through the tub. He was able to explain every step and the shower works again. Super happy to have found him.
