We needed a new water heater. No emergency, it was just time for a new one. The gentleman Carlos on the phone was very professional and the receptionist was very polite. We determined the appropriate replacement and agreed on a price which was lower than Home Depot by about $200 + dollars. A coupon in the local flyer for 10% was cheerfully redeemed after we determined the final price. So no funny business! Right on time in the window Carlos stated. The installer, Barry was super nice and very professional. Was careful and cleaned up when finished. One of the best experiences yet.

I would give zero stars if I could. As everyone here stated - this is a switch and bait. These are the types of companies that give contractors a bad reputation. We just had a quote for $229 to hook up a kitchen sink and when they came out they tried to add so much to the price it would be near $1000! Total scam and waste of time. Buyer beware! Luckily it wasn't urgent and we were able to send them away.

(Reposted from a different Plumbing Experts entry on Yelp that matched exactly the phone number I used - this Yelp entry appears to be the same company, so I'm reposting my review here). See my Home Depot review for the back story to this review. All I wanted was a new electric water heater to replace the 20yo water heater that began leaking on Friday afternoon. Short story: I went to Home Depot on Friday night, saw their water heaters with stickers that say, Same Day Installation If You Call By 12PM!, and made an appointment to have someone call me on Saturday so I could get a new water heater on Saturday. But Home Depot's contractor, Florida Delta Mechanical, never called me. Ever! And they didn't take any of the three calls I made to them, either. And when I re-visited Home Depot on Saturday, there was nothing they could do about it. Okay, then, Plan B is in operation now! So, I called Plumbing Experts on Saturday @ 1:30PM, the day before Easter Sunday, because I have my visiting in-laws staying with me with no hot water on a holiday weekend. Ahhh! The Plumbing Experts dispatcher tried to help me, but wasn't as helpful as I needed her to be, but she thankfully handed me over to her service manager, who was helpful. After talking about different options, I went with their standard, residential, 50 gallon water heater with a 6 year warranty (Home Depot's Rheem models had better warranties, but if they're serviced by Florida Delta Mechanical, those warranties are as worthless as the stickers on boxes that say they do Same Day Installation If You Call By 12PM). They give me a phone quote for the whole job, and, later, that phone quote is exactly what I'll pay (except I'll redeem one of their coupons that they put into mailers all the time, saving me $100 off the phone quote, which was a reasonable cost in the first place). So by 2PM, I made an appointment on a Saturday on a holiday weekend. By 3PM, Andrew shows up. He's friendly, capable. He removes the 80 gallon tank that was leaking, installs the new 50 gallon tank, does all the soldering (no flex tubes!) that's needed. He adds a new cold water valve because mine is old, was a little leaky. Nothing unexpected here, no add-on costs to remove the old tank or whatever. A few hours later, everything is done. We have hot water so everyone can take showers before we head to church on Easter Sunday morning. Bonus: the water is hotter now than it used to be, so even though we've got a smaller tank than before, the water is hotter so we really lose no capacity than what we had before. Andrew and Plumbing Experts saved the day for me and my family this Easter weekend! Thank you, thank you!

2.5 hour wait until someone showed up. I tried to call to stop the technician from coming since it took so long but unfortunately they can't answer the phone. Just terrible service

I have a leaky toilet. So on a Monday I called The Plumbing Experts at the Miami Dade phone number they provide on their website http://plumbingexperts.com/ (305) 947-9968. The lady asks me what is wrong so I tell her. Then she asked where I live and I gave her the address. She said there would be a $68 charge to come out and assess the situation so I said fine. So she I am going to send you an email to confirm the charge. I replied agreeing to the charge then I get no communication about the appointment. When I called again on Friday she makes the appointment for the plumber to come out on Saturday. When I called on Saturday because the guy never showed and the lady that makes the appointment picks up then she proceeds to tell me after all this that they don't serve the Pinecrest area or anything that far south. Why didn't she say that from the beginning when I called on Monday. What a huge waste of time and now I am angry for her stringing me along this way.

Don't be fulled by their free estimate or coupons. I was quoted and estimate of $350 - $550 to have a kitchen sink installed. They knew when I called that I had a dishwasher and garbage disposal, but when the man came here he gave me another estimate of $881 He nickle and dime me for everything and I ended up sending him away. Total scam

Lose their phone number, run away as fast as possible, terrible company starting out with the telephone receptionist. Non responsive, WAY overpriced. Don't understand how they are still in business. Just read the other reviews they are on the money!

To make a call at 8:30 AM and have a plumber at your house at 11:30 AM is a wonderful thing. I had a non-functioning toilet that needed immediate attention, and it was promptly fixed. Necessary parts were in the truck - no waiting for orders or additional appointments. I have used this company in the past, and they were equally prompt and efficient about replacing another toilet in my home. They are reliable, reasonably priced and, most important, their plumbers are very well qualified.

I would say bait and switch....a $59 service call becomes a $257 bill for a one hour job to replace a valve. STAY AWAY

total rip offs ... they bait and switch you before you know it.. A 4k job turned into a 25k job....my neighbors 4k job turned into a 30k job...don't let them scare you into signing a contract w/o getting 2 other estimates...mater of fact DON'T CALL THEM! I don't know how these people sleep at night when they have no problem ripping off senior citizens and disabled people...
