We had a potential leak that needed to me investigated. Our neighbor used Martin and highly recommended him.

Martin was prompt, came on time as requested. He was detailed in the inspection and determined there was no leak, instead pipe pings.

He was friendly and easy to speak with. We will definitely use him next time too.

Martin is friends with my parents so he was the first one to come to mind when my shower drain clogged.I tried to snake the hair out of the drain but it was no match for me. My dad said he came on the fly which is always a good quality to have when something like this gets stopped up. I was at an appointment when he came but he was quick and left my shower drain clean! Overall he's your guy when you need to fix your plumbing.

I used to use him, he was very prompt. Then one day I had a big shower install, I called him to schedule one month prior, then called again a the day before. Never showed up, never answered my calls, set my project back by 3 weeks because other contractors had to reschedule. Not sure what happened to him but I would definitely not recommend him.

I can't say enough great things about Martin! I've called him panicking on many occasions, at all hours and days. He is always so pleasant and fast in getting back to you and fast at making the time to come fix anything! I can't believe we've wasted money and years on other plumbing companies only to have Martin fix everything they did! Don't go anywhere else! I hired Martin several times in the past for various plumbing jobs and had always been satisfied with his work. So, when I woke to find water in our garage on Monday morning, I called Plumbing Customs at 9:00 am, got Martin's voice mail and left a message describing the situation and asking him to call me back. When I hadn't heard from him by 11:00 or so I called back and this time he picked up. I told him again about the water in the garage and voiced my concern it could signal another slab leak -- he had done a pipe reroute for us when we had a leak about two years ago -- he told me to turn off the water to the house and that he would be at our house that afternoon, probably around 1:30. I said ""perfect"" and when he asked me to text him my address again, I did so. My husband came home from work around 1:00 so that he would be there when Martin arrived. Martin still hadn't shown by 3:00 so I called him again and got his voice mail. I left a message asking him to call or text me and let me know when he would be over. No response. I texted him around 4:00 pm asking if he was still planning on coming over today and got no response. Finally, at 5:30 I got a text from him saying that he had just finished a project and was ""too tired"" and was also booked for a couple of days. My husband (who by now was understandably upset at taking off an afternoon of work and that we were now facing a night of being without water AND having to locate another plumbing service to come out the following day) texted Martin back that his unresponsiveness was unprofessional and that if he didn't think he could come over he should have just said initially (or at any point during the day before 5:30 pm!).

Martin's text message response was ""Ya well my back hurts and I'm tired.""

Seriously, do not give this guy your business. His uncaring attitude and lack of professionalism is shocking. So much so that although I'm a big time fan and reader of Yelp reviews, I've never written one myself before now. Martin Vellandi of Plumbing Customs is to thank for getting me to create a Yelp account and finally become a contributing Yelp member.

Courteous, fair, professional, knowledgable, timely. After researching many reviews, I called Martin on a Saturday and he was at my house within 30 minutes. Got the job done quickly at a fair price. Great plumber!

Martin with Plumbing Customs was a great referral. I called him early afternoon because our water heater was leaking in our garage and in just a couple of hours we had a new water heater installed perfectly. He is honest, straightforward, timely and his pricing was reasonable. It is so refreshing when you call a specialist for help and they do what they say they will do, in the time they promise and for the price they quote--without trying to up-sell or take advantage of a situation. I will refer him to family and friends and call him if we need help in the future.
