Thomas E.Keith Benson, the new owner of Plumbing by Takis in 2015, I would not recommend. Ignore the in business since part, because he has not been the owner for that time. Look it up at sunbiz.org. In fact, I highly recommend everyone always looking up their contractor their. At least you will know who the owner is and if they file their paper work with the state in time. Getting back to the topic, They do not pay their subcontractors for the work they complete. You will most likely end up with a mechanical Lien on your home or commercial property. We did a job for him at TGI Fridays in Plantation, FL off 84th ave. we have called, messaged and mailed our invoices several times. No response. From what I have heard from Kim, the GM at TGIF, they did not do the job well. Stay away
Gabriel R.Company is not insured This company is the embodiment of the phrase """"you get what you pay for"""". We paid less for the job and we got the worst plumbing job I have seen in my life. I hired Keith to install a new water heater for my mother. He showed up 2 hours late; failed to file a permit, and didn't finish the job. Later I found out HE IS NOT INSURED. The unit installed appers to be damaged, and the electric work is not up to code. He also failed to provide a pan, which is required by code, but not by law, even though he had agreed to provide one. I am now pursuing all legal avenues to recover the money and take him out of business. This man is a danger to all trusting homeowners.
