I am very impressed by Kirk and his crew! I've hired many plumbers in my day as I have owned several houses and I've never been impressed by any Plumber. But Plumbing by Kirk is the ""BEST"" plumber I've ever hired and I'm impressed! He was originally recommended to me by a coworker who raved about his work so I decided to hire him. I called and explained my problem and Kirk was so helpful over the phone. They showed up on time for our scheduled appointment and they were very courteous and respectful to my home. I had several problems to deal with concerning extending a gas line and gas is something I never mess with also, I was trying to replace a toilet myself as I ran into problems with the toilet flange being completely jacked up as I needed help from a professional. Kirk and and his crew fixed my toilet flange problem flawlessly and finished the installation of my new toilet in no time.
I cannot express enough how important it is to hire a real professional to deal with plumbing issues as all of my problems with my home have only been with plumbing issues here in SCV. As I've hired many plumbers, Kirk is not one of those $80 an hr cheap fly by night plumbers who do sloppy work. Kirk and his crew are totally professional as I've learned the hard way if you pay for cheap plumbers you get cheap work. Their rates are very reasonable and fair as you get super hi quality work and what really impressed me was the clean up after the job was immaculate. The last plumber I hired charged me $95 an hr and left metal scrapings all over the place and was very sloppy. Plumbing by Kirk is AWESOME!!!! I'm having them come back to do more work in my home! I would definitely recommend them!!!

Doug at Clearwater Plumbing has proven himself to be honest and dependable so when we'd tried to snake our backed up sewer ourselves and failed ....and then rented a snake .....and failed we finally called him. Turns out Doug likes to take a day off every once in a while so he suggested Plumbing by Kirk.

I have enough respect for Doug that anyone he recommends automatically jumps to the top of the list. So I call. They say they can have someone over within the hour. Turns out he's here in half an hour. A pleasant 20-something guy who cheerfully does in 20 minutes what we couldn't in 4 hours.

We then point out the rented snake and the line that we happened to twist inside the cage and have been unable to straighten out. The guy at the rental desk had warned me that if we kinked it they'd charge us $400 so I'm dreading the return and am more than a little desperate. Our young plumber gives the line a mighty heave-ho and voila, twist undone, problem solved, $400 saved.

We were so excited that we showered him with complements and sent him off with a little extra cash for his pocket and some homemade dessert and I'm thrilled to know that there are now two local plumbing companies I can enthusiastically recommend.

Excellent experience. The technicians are honest, courteous and efficient. They resolved my issues and advised me to what was in my best interest. Management is truly concerned and responsive. This high level of customer service is a hard to find these days. I will recommend them to others.

Kirk and his team have helped us with a water heater installation, fixing a shower mechanism, and toilet installations. They arrived on time and cleaned up when the work was completed. What really stands out is Kirk gave me a simple fix over the phone for a toilet that was not filling and I didn't have to have them come out at all. Finally they call back promptly and even followed up with a call to make sure I was happy with their work. Wow! It's how a business should be run!

If I could give them 10 stars I would, but Yelp only has 5. So, one star each for being prompt, professional, helpful, friendly, and fair priced.
Plumbing by Kirk listened to my description of all my plumbing symptoms, which were really varied including klunking faucets, moaning toilets, whining pipes and determined the problem was likely the outside pressure regulator valve. In just a few minutes it was replaced and all symptoms cleared up. I appreciated their honesty, as they did not try to up sale me and ""fix"" things that didn't need fixing. I also received a nice courtesy call the following day from the company asking if everything was still ok, and did I have any further concerns or questions.
I liked this company and the employees, Brian and Shane, who showed up to my house. Both were extremely respectful, clean, and professional. I will definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs.

5 Stars and then some! I wad referred to them by a neighbor after our toilet backed up. After trying to plunge it, putting hot water down it. And a brief overflow, no luck. I called Kirk and team. I spoke with Gary and within 90 minutes the guys were here. The snaked the main drain line and within a fee minutes clog gone, and 100% operational again.

The guys were on time, professional, polite and knowledgable. If your like me these types of things get painful when you have to pay someone to fix it. But Kirks prices are very fair, actually they might be too low for the caliber of plumbing experience he and his team provide.

Don't worry, don't bargain shop, call Kirk. They are worth the money. Ill call them again whenever I need a plumber again. Kirk keep hiring these high quality guys! It reflects well on your business. Brian, Shane and Phillip are great.

If there were 20 stars he'd get it! Kirk is seriously one of the most honest, helpful, knowledgeable plumbers out there. We have used him a number of times and we are always impressed with his positive attitude and knowledge. Today he came to install the gas line for our grill. By the time he left he had removed the old reverse osmosis, corrected the faucet wires and reset our water heater...with no extra charge. And we learned that coconut oil makes for a great granite cleaner and hair product.
He even offered to participate in a career day at my school.

He's the best in the business and I HIGHlY recommend him.

Truly the best experience.

A few days ago we returned from a camping trip and started washing laundry, took showers and bathed the dog. Pretty quickly we realized we had a clogged drainage system. Water started pooling in the shower, the toilets wouldn't flush and the sinks stopped draining.

We've used Plumbing by Kirk in the past and were very happy with their honesty and straight forward approach to explaining whats wrong and how to fix it.

But this time around Kirk went above and beyond. Within 10 minutes he had diagnosed the issue, showed me what was wrong and then told me the service was FREE. That's right, no charge. Not even a minimum service charge for coming out. He showed me how the water backed up because a little door had closed on the main outgoing sewer line. It's designed to close and keep back flow from entering the house incase of a catastrophic sewer problem in the neighborhood. He simply opened it back up, told me to stop flushing wipes and that was that. Well, not entirely. He then showed me how to fix it in the future, gave some good advice on general up keep and made me promise to pay his kindness forward. Yep, that actually happened.

This is how you build a life long customer base.

Had Brian and David stop by and check out the problem I had in the Master Bathroom. They looked around told me what they were going to do and told me what they had to do if the first part did not work. They were quick and got the job done. Wife will be happy which will make me happy.
