Yesterday Gary from the Burbank office came to repair my tankless water heater. I have only the highest praise for his knowledge, skill, and professionalism. He was on time and explained in detail what needed to be done and why. I also agreed to change the water pressure regulator since it was time for a new one (13 years since last). I've already noticed a big difference in both hot water and pressure in the house. Thank you Gary and Plumbing Bros.!

Needed someone to diagnose a water heater that was making an extreme loud popping noise. We had a feeling that the noise was not normal or safe but needed a professional opinion to confirm our concerns. We were referred to the Plumbing Brothers by another company that couldn't provide the service. When I called, the receptionist who answered the phone was friendly and was able to get somebody out on the same day/within the hour. Once the hour passed, I got a call informing me that the technician was running a little late and that he would be by shortly. I appreciated the heads up phone call and sure enough the technician arrived right after. George was the technician and was friendly, professional and patient. When he arrived he was wearing a mask which I appreciated given the sensitivity during these Covid-19 times. The water heater was not making the noise right at the time when he was here (of course) but he tried to figure out the problem by having me run the hot water from inside the house and waited as I ran back and to get the heater to make the noise. Eventually the heater made that loud popping noise and George confirmed that this heater was not only damaged but a hazard and unsafe to have, and that we should replace it immediately! I expressed to George that my father the owner of the house was in denial of the seriousness of this issue and this is why we wanted a professional diagnosis. George was kind enough and offered to call and speak with my father who was not present at the time, and I told him that for the moment it wouldn't be necessary but definitely appreciated the offer! Overall, I'm satisfied with the service.

BE AWARE! SCAM! I can only compare what happened to me to fraud or scam. I called this company based on their good reviews and because I used them a few years ago, and they left a good impression on me. Not this time! A hot water stopped coming out of the tub faucets in the master bathroom. A plumber named Jaime showed up to assess the problem. When I told him that there was no hot water coming from that faucet, he barely even looked at it. He briefly leaned over it, and the very next second he was telling me that it was a very cheap and no brand-name faucet and a shower valve, and it had to be completely replaced along with the pipe in the wall. Then he looked in the closet from which there was an access to the tub from a different room. He told me that he would have to disassemble the closet system and break the drywall in order to replace a shower valve; that it's a very big job (half a day at least) and a very serious problem. I asked him how serious. He told me that he would send me an estimate shortly. A week later there was no estimate, i had to remind him. Couple of days later I finally received an estimate from Plumbing Brothers. Wow was I shocked! Scope of work : to replace a shower valve for a little price of $2,100.00!!! Man, it was more than I paid for labor to install all new kitchen cabinets in that same condo when I did a remodel. I texted this guy Jamie that I received the estimate but that it was shockingly high. He asked me to call him on the phone. On that phone call, he told me hush hush, ""I want to help you out and I can do it for you on the side for ONLY $1,200, but please don't tell the company."" He said that he could not repair it, only replace the whole thing. Still ridiculously high price. I was stressed out beyond imagination as my new tenant just moved in. I decided to contact another plumber who 1) told me it was a brand name valve by Moen; 2) that it was simply clogged by impurities and particles in water and needed cleaning. The whole job was done in minutes and cost me....guess...$120.
I was so happy when it was all over. But the stress I had to go though all thanks to dishonest practices by Plumbing Brothers when I had a newborn child to take care off on my hands, that can never be repaired. My advise - just stay away from them.

Josh came out today to fix 2 leaking faucets. He was fast and on time and did a great job. He even saved me money and did not try to upsell me on buying a new anything which I really appreciate!

I can't express how incredible George and his team are. We had a major toilet overflow that caused our downstairs ceiling to pour down. They came in a heartbeat and took care of the problem. They are very detailed and explain all their work thoroughly. They definitely dont cut corners and make sure you are aware of everything they are doing. I highly recommend Plumbing Brothers!

This company is unprofessional. Wasted my time twice and do not keep appointments. They blame staff who are "" new"" and book and rebook appointments. I would never recommend them or use them.
The owner, Al is full of platitudes and excuses but does not keep his word or appointments. The office is a disorganized mess.
After being strung along for two different days and two different appointments I have learned my lesson. Their confirmations are meaningless. If you are busy, work, have deadlines or a life do not call this plumber. They will not respect you or honor any appointments, or days even and their words mean zippo.

Update November 19, 2019
After standing me up twice and giving me the run around and telling me they had previous appointments before mine the day of early morning appointments (one to make up for the original missed one), yadda yadda I will say they made several more attempts to contact me including a note of apology and a check for $200 toward my plumbing bill with the next plumber I used. I would probably still never hire Plumbing Bros in the future but they did try to apologize (although I would have preferred they just kept their appointments instead of putting me through two wasted days and endless apologies and make-ups for apologies.)

I am amending my previous review. I received a call back addressing my complaint and am satisfied with the way they handled it. They took care of my concerns to my satisfaction. As for the job they did concerning my plumbing, I was very happy and would recommend them based on their work.

George and his team are top notch. From first communication, professionalism, caring about the customer and final outcome. They cover all the bases. They helped me on a big project that took all day and I couldn't have asked for a better crew. We were able to save a lot of money thanks to George! We will definitely be using them again in the future.
