This is the only company I will trust or call for any plumbing needs. I had a bad experience with another company who tried to charge me $800 to dig in my backyard for a simple sprinkler valve repair.

Plumbing Authority is honest, friendly, and they know what they are doing. I can trust that they will get job done right the first time, with very reasonable rates.

We had this company changing the showers valve and diverter for $1100 plus fixing a pipe in the garage ceiling. That was on January. We know usually companies give a 30 days guaranty but still I gave a call and told them about it and they weren't nice at all. By March 1st we were already having trouble with the pipe in the garage. It was a mess with water everywhere. Good thing we got home warranty because they found out the diverter was improperly done and leaking everywhere. Basically we paid for a bad job to plumbing authority.

Absolutely the best! Very dependable and quality work for a reasonable price. Doesn't get better than that.

I called Plumbing Authority to repair a leaking faucet on my fiberglass whirlpool tub. The plumber they sent knew less about plumbing than I do.

For instance, after he couldn't budge the valve with a wrench, I suggested that he use a ratchet. He said that he didn't have one, but then went out to his truck and brought in a ratchet set which also didn't work.

Since he wasn't able to replace the valve from above the tub, he called his boss, Marty and he said that the tub needed to be pulled out and he quoted $1,100 minimum to remove the fiberglass tub to replace the valve.

I have watched YouTube videos of such tubs being removed and it takes at most 90 minutes. Plumbing Authority estimated that it would be an all day job. That is a lie!

This job should take no more than 3-4 hours to pull the tub, replace the valve and re-install the tub.

Also, they charge $90/hour but quoted a minimum of $1,100. That comes out to over 12 hours for this job.

Plumbing Authority should be avoided! They are crooks!

*****REVIEW UPDATE as of 7 PM 12/11/18*****

This afternoon I called the handyman that I've used in the past for non-plumbing jobs to ask him his opinion about this issue.

He told me to soak the frozen nut with WD-40 since that should loosen the nut. I told him that I had as of last night. He told me to reapply the WD-40. He just finished removing the nut and replaced the valve!!!!

The total cost was $80 of labor plus $35 for the valve for a total of $115. In addition, most of the labor was the travel time to purchase the $35 valve. He actually only spent 15 minutes working the job!!!!!

Although he's not a licensed plumber, my handyman sure knows his stuff!

So, my leak is fixed and I only paid $115, not $1,100!

Outstanding service. I'm a new home owner and had a faucet break. Couldn't get it to stop running and the valve to shutoff water was also broken. All happened at 10 at night, and was frantically making phone calls. Fortunately Alan answered. Just did an amazing job. Arrived quickly, was super nice. Shut off the water and fixed the faucet in no time. Really seemed to do a great job technically. Just very thankful for their help. Totally reasonable pricing. Just a great job.

Thank you Marty for helping me out!! Marty in my opinion went WAY beyond to help out, he came over to help me with my faucet and a toilet that literally has been fixed (by someone else) twice and still keeps breaking..Im out with a back injury, Marty went to Lowes and bought me a new faucet and workings for this stupid toilet, installed em quickly ...I'll only use Plumbing Authority again!!
Great customer service from the girl who answered when I called, very friendly and the call back time from Chris to dispatch Marty out to me was fast!!

We had Plumbing Authority come out this morning, as we had a shower that would not turn off. One quick call to Chris and within the hour Robert was there. He quickly diagnosed the problem and the repair was done! Friendly, quick and reliable service - what more could we ask for! Thanks Robert and Chris! Plumbing Authority is the best!!!! I wouldn't use anyone else for our plumbing needs.

Alan and DJ are the best! Our landlord hired another ""handyman"" but never even fixed our plumbing concern. All he did was go in and out of my home, dirty the carpet and pretended to turn off the main shut off valve. All he had to do was to replace the flap in the toilet (which I told him to look at in the first place) but our apartment complex goes through Plumbing Authority, so we hoped for the best this time around. Not only did they fix our plumbing issue, Alan took his time to listen to my actual concern (not like the ""handyman"" that was hired previously). Thank you so much Alan and DJ for all your hard work!

I manage a large, 800 plus unit apartment building in Studio City CA. Our building has its fair share of plumbing challenges. These guys are professional, honest and fair not to mention extremely dependable. Brian and his crew have come to our rescue on many occasions and I cannot recommend them enough.
