Polite, professional and high on customer service!
situation: Had an outdoor leak and Gilroy Water called to tell me their meter at my house indicated this. I searched and called Plumbing America who sent someong within hours. Scott was professional, kind, polite, and taught me plumbing 101 by telling me what PVC stood for! I called them shortly before they arrive to let them know my ""engineering brother in law"" could fix it. I told him I would pay for the mileage of their effort in coming out but he declined and kindly said just to refer them which I am. I will use them again moving forward!!

Replaced my bathroom faucet and fixed a leaky tub with no problem! Other plumbers never even bothered to return my call! Showed up on time and fixed the problems. Definitely the one to call first next time!

I scheduled 3 plumbers to bid on a gas line job. Scott was the only one who showed up, and he was actually on time.

I just purchased a home so was a little short on cash. Scott helped me figure out how to get most of what I wanted in a way that fit my budget. His workers were polite and professional. The work was top notch and passed inspection on the first try.

I was very excited about finding this company on line with so many positive reviews. But I emailed them, called them and spoke with a woman that works there, then called them again and spoke to a different woman and I still haven't heard back from the plumbers about a quote to re-pipe my house. I won't be calling them or recommending them to anyone. A total waste of my time.

It was a pretty bad overall experience with this plumbing company. I have a leaking pipe outside the house and needed repair. Looked up the yelp and find this one. Scott the owner quote me for one hour labor plus materials after I describe the problem, I thought it was fair so I asked him to send someone over ASAP. Since it was late afternoon and and nobody at the home during working hours so I had to schedule next available time slot which was 3:30pm next day. Again, that is the only time they have available late afternoon and I had to leave work earlier to meet with the technician.

No complain yet but once the tech showed up and he told me he could not do it that day because the glue will need time to dry so we can't take shower or cook and he will come back the next day and they won't charge for the extra trip. Make sense to me so we set up next morning. Since the leak is outside the house the tech told me I don't need to be there when he fixes it. I was anxious on how much time he will take since their hourly rate is not cheap! Next morning went pretty smoothly and about half hour the technician completed the work even though he had to cut the new pipe twice. The Tech told me that he will keep the water valve shut to allow glue to dry and he will turn it back on before I come back home from work. Again, he assured me that there would be no charge for another trip to turn water back on since he lives around the corner. There was no water when I got home 4:00pm that day and worst yet, I could not get anyone to answer my phone call after several trials to the main office, or the owner or the technician. I had to go out to get dinner for the family after one hour waiting and no phone call returned. When I got the meal back to my surprise the water is back on and the tech nicely left an apology note on my door!

So far not too bad at least the problem is fixed. Not until I got my bill, it clearly says that I need to pay for the three trips and when I called to question, I got a really rude response basically saying we don't appreciate your business since you want to question our invoice! Unbelievable rude customer service from the owner. I will never do business with them again!

Once again, thank you Yelp and Yelpers for helping me find this great business.
When our water heater stopped working, I called our homeowner insurance and they referred us to another company. When I looked up reviews of that other company online, reviews were so bad, that I was ready to get better service and pay on my own.
When I called Plumbing America, I talked to Gary, he asked for the brand and serial number of the water heater. He said that brand was very popular for a specific part to brake. So he checked if he had the parts before sending someone.
The person who came was very professional, got the job done and we got hot water before thanksgiving long weekend. That really made our day!

well, had this people come twice to my business, first time had a great service and reasonable price , thats why i call them again, second time they got a lil bit to greedy i believe, since way less work was done and they charge me more for the job...over all they get the job done and i paid for the work, but they lost a repeating customer for sure.

I contacted Plumbing America because my replacement razor blade holder fell into the toilet. I didn't think anything of it until the next day the toilet was overflowing. I was also having issues with a slow bathtub drain. I contacted a few local plumbing companies. I had originally scheduled an appointment with another plumbing company but I decided I better call around to see if I could get a better price as the first one seemed a little pricey.

I spoke with Gary on the phone who attempted to get a technician out that afternoon but they were booked up, he called me back to let me know no one could make it out that evening and someone would be out first thing in the morning. I wasn't in a rush so it didn't bother me at all. Prior to the plumber arriving I received a call from Gary informing me that a plumber was on the way and if I needed anything to give him a call.

The plumber, Esteban (I believe), arrived promptly at 8 o'clock as scheduled. I explained the problem and he explained the process in which he was going to solve the problem. I am usually a fix it myself kind of person, so I like to watch to learn. I asked Esteban if he minded if I looked over his shoulder to see what he was doing. He didn't mind at all! He removed the toilet to make sure the clog was not beyond the toilet, which it wasn't. He was able to removed the clog in the toilet. He cleaned up the water that spilled out and reattached the toilet with a new wax ring, wiping everything down when he was done. He tested the toilet multiple times, adding wadded up toilet paper to make sure it was a solid fix! Great JOB!

He then proceeded to snake the drain of the bathtub removing the clog.

I was impressed with the quality of workmanship, the friendliness of the Plumber and the pricing. He worked swiftly and did not try to overcharge or make extra money off of me. I would highly recommend them based on my one experience!! A++++ Job
